wtf??????is this true????? i have been told that the 'experts' recommendation now is that you make each bottle up as you need it rather than making what you need for the day....please tell me this isnt true???? what an absolute crock it sounds!!!!!!

i have always made my bottles up the night before for the next day and put them in the fridge and warmed them as i need them.........i have 5 kids already (my eldest is a strapping almost 17 year old) and it never harmed any of them !!

I dont make bottles up individually either hun!! i make a batch up for the day!!

Its done my LO no harm xx

It's a load of rubbish. I don't make them individually or my electricity bill would be sky high from boiling the kettle 4/5 times a day and Grace would be sitting waiting for it for ages. I just make up what I need, leave them on the worktop and chuck whatever I don't use away after 24 hours

yep thats what they and I couldnt name one person that does. Its a days worth at a time for us too!

I have a flask which i keep the water in and just make them up when they are needed !

we don't either! we make up a batch of 6 with just the boiled water, and then add formula and heat when needed. keep the water bottles of 24hours and then get rid of what we don't use x

I dont make them up like that, i just do a batch and keep them in my fridge until used if they havent been in 24hours i bin them XxxX

No way would I ever do that, way to much work  24 hours worth at a time for me too

I make up a days worth of bottles with water and store them in the fridge then take em out when needed, heat it up and then add the milk. Too much messing about otherwise.

I make them individually. I tried making a batch up but it made Colton really, REALLY sick. So, after about 3 days I stopped, and he stopped getting so sick!
Although, here they can have water straight from the tap from birth.

I used to make up as i needed when i went to formula as my little boy was so sicky, but then HV persuaded me to go onto pre-made so was spending shed loads every week on cartons of pre-made formula, she felt he had an allergy to the powder. Am gonna breastfeed as much as poss this time, but thinking i will express and feed that way as not sure my poor boobs will stand up to another hungry boy lol xxx

I put half the amount of water in all the bottles in the morning then put boiled water in a flask. I make them up as we need them and because there is a mix of cold and warm water they mix to be the right temperature for Kathryn.

I boil a load of water, keep it in a jug on the work top and add formula as and when needed.

I know I was with a friend a few months ago and she saw me, when we were out, get the bottle of water and add the formula right there at the table. She asked why I was doing this. I said I preferred to add the formula when it was needed. We can't find a bottle warmer here. It's a habit now, I don't even think about it when I am going out, fill bottles with water and take a small tuppaware with formula. Maybe it is the hard way but like I said, it's a habit now and no skin off my nose, it doesn't bother me.

I make them all up for the day and put them in the fridge and heat when needed! My health visitor knows i do this and has never said a thing!

i fill the bottles with water then add the powder when needed

i make them all for the following 24 hours
