the whole point of this making as you go along malarki is so bacteria that could have got into the powder is killed off with at least 70 degree temp water. i told the hv i werent doing it that way and and making a batch at a time.
she said as long as the feed is made with hot water and not with cold water its fine wether its out of a flask as you go along or kettleto make a batch i make in the morning what i need for the day and night what i need for te night shift.
I boil water and fill it in bottles and keep it in the fridge. I heat a kettle when I want to feed him place the bottle in the hot water after it has boiled and add the formula. But we have now swapped to feeding him the ready stuff as at night its too much hassle to heat the water and all. it costs more but for the sake of not having a screaming baby that is starving at night and just wants to be fed it's worth it.
