marathon evening feeds!

omg the last few days they have been feeding constantly from about 6 till 12! and i mean constantly! they still go about every 3 hours at night but from 6 till 12 im stuck sitting there with a numb bum lol is it possible they could b having a growth spurt. sounds silly but i thought because they were 4 weeks early id technically still b 39 weeks pg atm so would they b having a little growth spurt in the womb? am i being ridiculous lol just strange that its all of a sudden they cant seem to get enough boob!

when I was feeding my twins I think they had a pretty constant growth spurt until about 1 and a half months, then they settled down for a few weeks until 2 months ( when I switched to FF). I got through it by making sure I was supplied with plenty of food and water and watched a good movie lol. I hope it gets better for you.

It is common for babies to cluster feed in the evenings. My daughter started doing this quite early, few weeks old and after about a fortnight or so she started sleeping longer and longer during the night till she started going through.

oh god i know what you mean and i only have one mouth to feed!!!
isabel cluster feeds in the eve and drives me insane with constant demands to be fed, takes a little, then stops and five mins later wants more again! like above poster said though, she sleeps very well during night and even from birth has only ever woken approx every 4 hours in night so i've been lucky!
