I really considered calling in sick today. But from the last couple of days i know i will feel fine mid morning. So i just waited it out then went into work. Xxx

My GP sent a letter for an early scan because of my miscarriage with the EPU but it wasn't granted so I'm just going to have one privately on Monday. Apparently I didn't fit the criteria.

I'm with the Coombe too. That's crap that they didn't give a scan. You'd think they would want to keep on top of things. Are you doing the consultant care or midwife led care? I'm classed as high risk due to my medical history so I'm always with the consultants. I can't wait to get my appointment date so I can start counting down to it.
 
Well I phoned in sick today im usually fine by about 4/5ish but i just feel awful & driving makes me feel sick aswell

No way! What's your appointment day? Might run into each other unknowingly haha.
Consultant too. I really tried to do midwife care last time but because of my thyroid, and other complications along the way it had to stop. They really tried to accommodate me though.
This time I don't even going to try, and because of the miscarriage I'll feel better having the mini scans at each visit.

With my girls, my appointments were always on a Wednesday so I think it will be the same again if things haven't changed on their end. The mini scans are so reassuring and make the loooong wait to see the consultants worth it. I've read so many books sitting in that waiting room lol

Ye im eatin fine it takes th edge off but i cnt keep eatin constanrly lol i no im gna be overweight as it is at my first appointment

Yeah it's so frustrating. Maybe try chewing sugar free chewing gum, I heard it's meant to help? :-k

I can't even remember when mine were before, this time they are on Tuesdays though. How often would you get them? I seem to have forgotten EVERYTHING lol.

One more day and I'm on annual leave until the 20th of August. I need the time off!

I keep refreshing the page too to hear about the scan.
 
Hi Ladies,

Bad news for me I’m afraid.
I was cramping yesterday and boobs were not as sore. . Have started bleeding with large clots and cramping quite bad today. I think it’s all over. I have had heavy bleeding in a previous pregnancy where baby was ok however it was much further along, I was 7 weeks and 1 day.

Wish you all the best and hope you all have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies in March, might keep lurking! X

Ah shnsn I am so so sorry I truly am. I hope your okay, stupid thing to say of course your not okay but I hope your holding up. Always here if you need to talk x

I dont want to give you false hope but have you been checked?? Ive read on here i think it was or maybe baby centre ppl bleeding clots etc and being fine...

If u have im sooo sorry your going through this :( fingers crossed youl have ur rainbow soon
 
Hi ladies. Sorry to keep you all waiting. We got the kids picked up and I crashed when I got home!!!!

Anyway, all went perfect. Little bean kept hiding but we heard the heartbeat and were even allowed to record it. Images are all currently on a cd so can’t share those just yet but will once we have got them printed. Heartbeat was lovely and strong and dated are spot on \\:D/\\:D/
Feeling quite a lot better about things now.

Glad everything went well! Sooo jealous u got to hear the heartbeat though :shock: bet you feel abit more relaxed now though.
