I started watching this last night as had it on sky+, it's so not a comedy. Reading through this I'm glad I turned it off before the end Our old dog had to go at the start of the year, i don't really want any reminders of how sad it is losing a pet!! Gonna delete it me thinks

I have not seen it but I read the book about 4 years ago and it was really sad. I have it saved on sky+ from when it was on tv recently but now I am thinking that I might not watch it at all.

i love the book..so much better than the film in my opinion
