I'm useless at working these things out but this might help?

'You must have been employed by your employer for a continuous period of at least 26 weeks into the qualifying week (which is the 15th week before the week in which the baby is due). This period must include at least one day's employment in the qualifying week.'

Basically you must have been there 12 weeks ish before you get pregnant. When are you due?

Of course this is if your in the UK!

That's not technically right. You can start somewhere and fall pregnant 2 weeks after and you are eligible for SMP as this happened to my friend. As long as by the start of the 15th week before EDD, you have worked there for the 26 weeks you qualify.

So OP, if you get pregnant now you MORE than qualify
