maternity leave

hi im due to go on maternity leave and im considering take the full 12 months off now the last 3 months will be unpaid now i was wondering if i would be entilted to any benefits during that time i will have 3 children at the time and single parent.

I dont think we are hun, but like the above poster has said worth specking to cab or job centre.

You should get the usual stuff like Child Benefit and the working/child tax credits but I can't imagine you'd get anything more. I'm tempted to take the full twelve months too but I really don't know if I can afford the last three months with no money and I'm awful at saving!
