Maternity photo shoot?

I really want a maternity photo shoot! When is the ideal time to do it? I'm 20 weeks 5 days today (april 11)? Does anyone have any suggestions?

This time we did our first at 14 weeks when I started to get a bump. We did another at 22 weeks. We'll be doing another one soon (and probably a few more before the end). With my daughter I waited until I was "big enough", but then I lost her at 27 weeks, so I don't have any pictures. This time I was determined to get some, so we're doing a new shoot every so often with different friends helping out.

We won't be doing one until 36/37 weeks.

I'm planning to do mine once my bump finally rounds out completely I think. Probably around my 35th/37th week area when it's finally really nice outside

I got mine done at 24 wks by my friend. I filled out bump-wise very early so I'm definitely round in these pics. We were talking about doing another session when I'm further along but to be honest with you, I'm not sure if I'll want any pictures by then because I'm already feeling huger by the minute and growing. I'm glad I got mine done at 24 wks so in case I'm not feeling photogenic anymore I'll at least have those. I haven't made up my mind about doing ones professionally when I'm big as a house. I do weekly ones of myself in the mirror though no matter and I figure I can look at those if I want for later on *shrug*. I think it's really just personal preference.

im a photographer and i schedule my clients around 35 weeks that way they dont end up having LO before the shoot but they are big enough to show baby just how big they made them.. ill be doing mine around 32 weeks because i have a high risk of preterm labor

I have one next week so ill be 30 weeks. I have a big bump so I think now is a good time for me!
