Maternity Physio

Cant help much on that one hun as I just had a telephone consultation with one last Friday after being referred by MW and they just asked loads of questions and then said I'm already doing quite a bit to help myself and sent me some exercises in the post... so mine wasnt that much help, especially when he said 'well you're nearly due so the pain will go soon'.......

I had a course of it at about 22 weeks for my spd. They check the alignment and stuff of the sore bits and the girl yaught me some wee exercises to do at home that helped. My spd went away until about 32 weeks and now I'm too big for doing the exercises I was shown before but not too bad that I need another appointment again

Hope to help hun

I went to a back care class with the physio as it is a while before my proper appointment, but with the stuff that I have been doing from the back care class, I think tha I don't need to go to physio now. Just about sitting properly, how to get in and out of bed without stressing back/pelvis, shoes to wear and standing up without straining the back xx
