Got back from the midwife, what an appointment, it took 15 mins to find the heartbeat which was very worrying but bubs is ok, just lying very low!!! Plus she is measuring a week ahead so if still measuring big next app then I'll be going for yet another scan! thank god that's over! She did however refer me to aqua natal for my sciatica. So I hope that helps x

It's really worrying isn't it when it takes longer to find the heartbeat. Midwife struggled to get ours last time. Baby was in such an awkward position. Glad all is well. Measuring 1week ahead is nothing to worry about, those measurements are only a rough guide, and even growth scans aren't accurate.

Got my check-up tomorrow yikes.xx

I had my MW appointment today as well. Bloods, urine, BP all fine. Baby's heartbeat good and strong at 140bpm, she said baby still had his head down (he did at last appointment), his back to my left, and bum up under my ribs. Explains why it is so hard to bend down and I get quite breathless. Fundal height 31cm, she said it was spot on as 31 weeks.

She wants to see me again in 2 weeks time.

aww! loads of appointments today!

got my hours sorted out at work now so 4 more weeks of normal duties then go down to doing office work till i leave at 37 weeks! with a £40 a week pay drop but hey ho its only for 5 weeks then my wages go back up to fulll pay for mat leave! weight off my shoulders!

Though also gutted as i will have to give up helping with Beaver scouts on a firday earlier than expected and have to tell the group leader tmrw night that in 3 weeks time he will need a new assistant and i feel a bit bad for not being able to give him longer notice!

My new buggy arrived yesterday! its a tandem double one and is like a bloody tank! haha! its awesome tho! xx

Speaking of appointments I have to go to occupational health today, ugh, not looking forward to it at all

I'm going back to work on Tue, still got these stupid headaches but my bp is normal again. I'm hoping that they reduce my timetable as at the moment it's so heavy at the beginning of the week mon-wed I don't even have time to pee! But with 8 working weeks left I'm too worried about my exam classes to stay off sick even though my Dr would happily sign me off. So cross your fingers for me ladies!

I need to remember and book a 32 week appointment, and I have lost the bit of paper which had my appointment details on it oops I think it was my 36 week appointment I needed to have at another part of the hospital lol! so bloomin confusing.

Don't you think we need a massive laminated poster for the wall? for appointment times etc, so we can remember. How do they expect pregnant woman to remember all these things I can't even remember if I had breakfast this morning, but I am hungry, so going to make a slice of toast lol

my brains the same thought the lady on the phone said monday 25th of feb there was no monday 25th lol. it was for the 21st god knows how i made that mistake then ive now missed my daughters 2nd flu jab twice now :/ x

just want a little rant! im been ill with fluey symptoms since last week, i have tried to get in my doctors every day but they have no appointments (you have to ring at 8 and when u finally get through they have all gone.) so i said i needed a doctor to phone me back. im ok to handle the illness myself, its just baby im worried about as i dont know what can and cant effect him. they then phone back 10 minutes later saying ring ur midwife for advise. i dont want my midwife i want a doctor! i have only actually seen my midwife 2 times throughout pregnancy, every other time it has beeen a stand in one. arrrrrrggggghhhhhh!
