Green - how annoying! I was certain we'd be seeing a blazing +opk from you today. I'd say it doesn't look liked you o'd yet because there's no change in temp. Rubbish.

AFM - 6 DPO and all's quiet. I did have proper wierdo dream last night (I often have them around 5/6dpo) I dreamt I had naturally gotten pregnant with 12 babies! I was told my body had gone into overdrive after mc and released loads of eggs so I had 12 growing away. I was freaking out because they also expected me to get to full term! Then I started panicking about how we'd need 2 people carriers and every inch of our house would be filled with cots and nappies etc etc! I also couldn't get my head around some kind of pushchair can you imagine a pushchair with 12 babies in it?! And breastfeeding how was I ever going to manage that so funny, it entertained me anyway. DHs response - 'you are bat sh*t crazy'

Mrs unicorn - that's a really bizarre dream lol. I've been getting weird dreams that I'm getting positive tests, last night I took 3 tests in my dreams and they were all positive! That's the second dream in a matter of days. It's definitely on my mind at the moment.

Not getting much in the way or any symptoms yet. I ordered a bunch of IC opks and hpt for next month so I'm ready as I'm not sure if I'm ovulating coming off the mirena yet

Oh!!! How Exciting!!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU! I am SO excited to see two pink lines of my own on a pregnancy test as well! Hope all goes well with the pregnancy! And Congrats! Looks like you timed it perfectly this cycle!! May I ask what all you did this cycle to try to conceive, as far as tracking (what you tracked) testing, preseed, any specific methods of BDing, and or supplements?

I finally got my +OPK after 2 1/2 days of flashing smiles. And finally got to dtd this morning. We plan on doing it again this afternoon during my DD nap time. Then hopefully again in the morning before my DH has work. That will at least give us 3 times of dtd. This month hasn't gone as planned but we are trying to make up for it.

How's everyone else doing ??

I'm sorry. I'm new to all the TTC lingo, what do you mean by, "Flashing Smiles?" I know I'm probably going to feel totally stupid when you answer this bc it's probably something completely obvious that has just went over my head for some reason at 5:15am? Also, if you know the answer to this one, why are so many ladies obsessing about making sure to BD the day before they get their + OPK? I thought the + was the green light that you would O from 12-48 hrs after that, so why is it so important to make sure you BD the day before your true +? Thanks in advance for expanding my horizons on the TTC wide open ocean

I don't get it. Why one earth would that even be a thing. It's not like you POS and then rush out the door so you need the results to upload on your phone while your rushing somewhere. It takes less than ten minutes to do a PT? And most show a positive in like 3-5 min. Why on earth would you be so distracted that you would need your phone to tell you what your PT result was? I'm thinking this is going to be a complete FLOP for FR and is a desperate attempt to stay new and hip, when they have already cornered the market. they are the MOST trusted PT brand there is. Anyone you ask about ?able PT's what do they say? "go get an FRER!" I'm am so completely dumb founded on why or how anyone thought this was such a fabulous idea to actually make it come to fruition and be released to the masses. WTF???? LOL I'm just speechless. Well obviously not speechless hence the ^ but I'm something lol

Still waiting on fertile CF to show up, ugh. I think O will be delayed this cycle. I usually start seeing EWCM CD10, and here we are CD12. I had a delayed O by 2-3 days two cycles ago and it was so annoying! We DTD last night anyway, but I checked for CF right before and it was still nothing. Ho hum.

Belle and Bumble - I don't know what's in the air, but last night I had a dream I got a blazing pos OPK!

I would be all for it, unfortunately, my hub's came down with some kind of flu like virus and now the baby has it as well, so he hasn't felt up for it this past week. I can't blame him, but I'm hoping he get's better soon, bc I'm getting close to getting the GL and we just decided to do this "7 day fix your marriage challenge" and part of it was to BD EVERYDAY for a week, so I couldn't be more please with the timing, lol. Not, that our relationship is horrible, but I don't think anyone is ever in one that has no room for improvements. we are trying to work on communication and blah blah blah. Our relationship is not perfect by any means (and plz I'd love to hear advice from anyone who contests that theirs is...lol) but we are working on it, one little piece at a time. We started the 7 day challenge officially yesterday and I actually have to admit that following the "rules" of it (except the bding bc of him being sick and all) actually did improve our relations with each other and made yesterday quite enjoyable in fact. You're not allowed to say anything negative to your partner AT ALL during these 7 days, and if you do, then that is the only time your partner can call you out on something, when you get "caught" being negative, each time, the partner in "trouble" immediately has to say 3 positive things that they love about you. It seems so childish and silly to think about but we both slipped a couple times, and I'll be darned if it didn't actually work to turn the entire situation around to where we are both smiling and laughing by the time it's all said and done. I'll look for a link to it and post it here when I find if anyone else is interested. But I couldn't be happier about the BDing, bc it couldn't of happened at a better time, it lined right up with my fertile window, so I'm all in, (but I'd be doing it even it didn't it just makes it even more fun bc now I know that we will be dtd quite a bit this cycle so hopefully we get a BFP out of it!!!


And I thought I read somewhere that you can actually BD too much? That doing it everyday doesn't increase your chances of getting pregnant, something about the man's sperm needing to "regenerate' or something or is this just something I've made up? lol

That looks just like mine that I did yesterday! I'm a little stumped about the FR one though, I would think bc they are such a large company and SO expensive ($20 for 7 LH and one PT!!!! EeeKKkkk!) That they would be the 'best of the best" and from what I'm seeing I could of possibly missed my + this month if I wasn't double testing with the IC's??? Anyone have exp. with the FR LH tests? do they go from almost no line to blazing + overnight or did I get a bad batch? Every one I've taken of the FR's have been barely visible on the test side, and all the same. Not getting darker in the least bit....I'm confused.

Quick question for my May ladies: what does ovulation feel like for you? I've been on BCP for so long, I'm not sure I've ever ovulated. I'm due to O any day now, but I feel like I've got both localized cramping and AF type cramping. Is that how it works for yall?

I get very mild cramps and or low back pain SOME times, not normally though, usually it just happens without me noticing anything. And the pain is so mild, I never take any kind of OTC pain med for it. If that helps at all.

Oh twogood, I meant to answer your sperm question above! Sperm regenerates in about 24 hours. Daily sex is perfectly fine unless he has a seriously low sperm count. But statistically speaking, daily only improves your chances by 2-3 percentage points over well timed every other day sex. So either is great!

BDing every day is only an issue if there's sperms issue, otherwise BDing every day won't hurt your chances.

Sperms can live up to 5-7 days, so BDing before a +OPK just ensures there are sperm waiting for the egg.

CF is "cervical fluid" I believe

Amber - totally get you with the improve your marriage program. Always room for improvement, and excellent timing! Sorry your OH is sick No experience with FR OPKs, but it sounds like you're still early in your cycle, and they should still be negative. I bet you get a positive soon, and it will be obvious. Thanks for the info about your O pain!

AFM - I got my temp jump this morning!! I am so ridiculously excited for such a small thing! It's so relieving to have assurance that, yes, my body does know how to function correctly after 10+ years of artificial hormones. FX that they stay high tomorrow. I'm probaby going to start testing May 1!

Green archer thsts crazy now we can have an app tell us we are pregnant or not. I try not to stare at the test for 5 mins but I always do!

Like a lot of you I've been having bizarre dreams! But when I'm awake I also always think about ttc so I'm sure it's just consuming my mind!

I got my trigger shot yesterday and will be in the tww tomorrow. Ugh the longest two weeks of the month...

Amber - Honestly we only DTD once anywhere near my fertile period. I've been busy and we were actually going to try next month. All I do to track was used my average cycle length with the average LH phase. I think I'm just a fertile person since my mother was a very fertile person. One slip up and she would be pregnant. All 4 of us were surprises although one was kind of planned. Both of my pregnancies have been the result of a single slip. This one is somewhat planned, but we were going to wait till next cycle. That or I'm just pulling the right straw! Testing wise.. I didn't suspect I was pregnant, but knew there was a chance. I did test with ICs a couple of times but they stark white. I could have gotten a positive earlier with a better brand most likely.

Not much going on for me! 4 dpo today. I'm feeling positive about this month! But I've had months in the past where I "just knew" I was pregnant... And of course wasn't lol. So I'm tentatively positive this month!
