maybe clomid ? need some insight and help.

Hello I am new to this board. I was wondering if anyone can help me with clomid questions. Yes I do ovulate. we are unsure of our fertility issues as of right now. My midwife said we can try clomid first. For me to drop more eggs for the sperm to get too. any success stories about this? I am thinking it maybe my DH We do have a 3 yr old little girl which had happened the sec we started trying which I am thankful for but 2nd time around is not going as planned we are older so this is why we want to jump start something NOW rather then later. I did read that you can ovulate and take it because it will help male infertility problems. then again we are unsure as of right now what is wrong this is the first step.
any advice or help will be great!

Have you thought about an sperm analysis for your dh just to make sure everything is ok there? I would start with that and blood work.

he will not go as of right now he will not go. So I am very upset about that. he wants to wait till we hit a year. I said then he will be turning 37 yrs old and me 34. too late. he will never understand.

I have heard that the clomid works for the male fertility problems..even if you do ovulate...but you should not be on it for long since you do naturally ovulate and you don't want to mess up your body's ability to release eggs on it's own. might i also suggest natural 'clomid' (soy isoflavones) or maca to you and your dh. Maca is good for male and female fertility. It increases libido and it increases sperm amount, motility, etc....
