Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

:hugs: it goes way too quick, someone said earlier oh Luca's almost 4 weeks, nooooooooooooo i said hes just turn 3 weeks  i dont want him to be a month old nooooooo

Bethany was very brave when she had her jabs, she didnt cry too much, but she looked so upset the whole way home

Oooooo George will no way feed in his sleep! That surely must be a bottle fed thing?? lol

He slept until 6.14am today :happydance: then fed and went back to sleep, I had to wake him 8.50am to take Joshua to school, he was well asleep!

Had him weighed, 5 ounce gain! He STILL is under 10lbs my dinky little babi lol HV has decided he is following his own pattern, his gain is low but a regular pattern and no more home visits until July! She like me to take him to clinic next week though, or if I dont want to his 8 week check is the week after but she said she just feels a little concerned not checking in on him regular until he picks up some more weight, but said he is so healthy and meeting all other criterias there is no reason to keep him on home visits.

:hugs: for bethnay, George has his on 11th July xxx

least he is gaining new, slow but regular like u say, sienna lost for months from birth, then finally picked up after being advised to combine feed. still behind till over 1 tho and now is only slightly behind she's just meant to be dinky lol.

brave bethany :hugs:

i stopped having hv home visits last week, advised to get him weighed at clinc every 4-6 weeks, but thats me and hv done till 1 yr review except when i want him seen lol

Lisa- With my first I bled for about 8 weeks and then got my period like the next week. :haha: Talk about being screwed over. I thought I'd be one of those lucky people who didn't get a period until close to a year since I was still breastfeeding so often. I'm assuming since my period came back early for breastfeeding last time that it will again this time so I'll be getting on the mirena in hopes that I wont have periods. We don't plan on trying for at least another four years since it will be our last so I figure I'll keep it in three years and then do a year of tracking before TTC.

I've lost 26 lbs :happydance: only 14lbs until the weight I want to be while breastfeeding. Once I stop I want to lose 10 more but I know that will come off quickly with not needing the fat stores for breastfeeding and not having huge boobs. I got back to work next Saturday, ahhh! I bet I'll be a big mess. The thought of having to pump at work is not pretty. I'll have to completely disinfect since I work in the ER. Of course the pump room is all the way at the other end of the hospital near the birth center, so I'll probably only be able to pump at lunch. Hope my boobs don't explode while I'm with a patient haha.

oh hun  i dont know how u manage going back to work so soon, it would break my heart, i wont leave Luca with anyone, point blank refuse to and think ill have huge seperation issues even for a few hours. i'd be such a mess. x

I'm sure I'll be a big sap. With Connor I only got 12 weeks leave and I was a mess, this time Liam will only be 6 weeks. The good thing is he will be with my husband so I know he will be fine. I just hope he does good with having to have bottles all afternoon/evening. I'm worried he will be going through his 6 weeks growth spurt then. He will be 6 weeks 4 days so hopefully it will have come and gone.

:hugs: lucky it must be horrible having to return to work so soon!

Wild, Joshua constantly lost until he got down under the 2nd centile where he sat until he was 3yrs+ then slowly picked up. You wouldnt think it now to look at him he is above average and very tall and lean, but solid lol George will catch up, maybe or he'll be dinky like his dad either way he is healthy :)

yes too right as long as he is healthy and happy thats all that matters. x

ok so how do i add the link for my journal to my sig, im so stuck pls help sum1 lol https://www.babyandbump.com/parenti...-princesses-her-prince-luca.html#post11428597

Hmm.... Went to work to discuss redundancy/being given a new role, and nobody turned up after sitting there for 2.5 hours with by then a getting grumpy Sam. :growlmad: Redundancy is no longer an option, its a case of being put where there is a job, which could be anywhere in London.... I have applied for jobs near to home now, but very unlikely I will actually get one, so I'm abit stuffed.... OH is applying for a new role which will have lots of overtime, so if he gets that and I don't get one of the jobs close to home, I will be a SAHM.... But if neither of us get what we want then we are abit stuck.

New, well done to George!! He just isn't meant to be a fatty like Sam is, well weight wise anyway!! :haha:

Last night after his bath looking sooooo happy. :winkwink: xx

[ URL="https://www.babyandbump.com/parenting...l#post11428597"]Our Parenting Journal[/URL]

You can change our parenting journal to anything, and then just close the gap between theracket and first URL. xx

how do i get that on there? im confuddled, i always have to get sum1 to do it for me

You can just copy and paste that into your signature box, I've done the rest. xx

:hugs: Lucky, I cant even imagine going to work and Eilidh is close to 4 months old. Hope they go easy on you hun.

Wiggler, glad Bethany was so brave.

New, whats Georges centile? 5 oz isnt too bad though at least hes following a line:thumbup:

Wild how you feeling today?

We're just back from the geneticist, just kept the GI doc for 4pm. It was really helpful, she checked Ruaridh and had a look at Eilidh for us. Ruaridh still hasn't grown, his chromosomes are normal so he's having gene tests and more blood tests. Eilidh is 7lb 6oz so a gain of 1oz since last thursday, she's to get a skeletal x ray:nope:

If you google the WHO growth charts Eilidh is at the -3 line now.

But close the gap at the begining wild. :D xx

Mummy. :hugs: Do they think there is something wrong with Eilidh or is she just small? xx

awwwww Sam is so cute!:cloud9:

Hope the job situation works out for you. Do you want to be a SAHM?
