Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Wild you're so pretty! Luca is adorable too, he looks so grown up:cloud9:

New, typical lad no liking shopping lol. Hope you're not too exhausted.

Brandi:hugs: Must be a relief to know one way or another.

Milo's, sounds like you got further than we did in understanding the report. Your mothers instinct is not wrong hun, they've said he needs help in some areas so you were completely right in pushing to get him help. There are so many different disorders that could produce so many different effects, best to let the specialists monitor.

There was a huge rain storm here last night then a huge dust storm, hubbys car looks gross:haha: So nervous waiting for the nurse to get here, still got an hour and a half

mummy - yeah the one lady mentioned how she's glad i was pursueing this on my own since the pedi wasnt concerned. and that i researched online and got the process rolling myself. i couldnt just sit back anymore.
one mom said she was told the same thing about her son. but after the therapist saw him for his therapy they changed their minds and finally diagnosed him with ASD. so now just more waiting :?

Milos :hugs: Im glad they are sorting the areas they have identified, and I hope you're not waiting too long for him to be fully diagnosed if thats what he needs hun. These practitioners think they know everything because they have a read a book or two, but sometimes maternal instinct and understanding is the answer xxx

Brandi, congratulations hun I hope they have all the answers for you tomorrow.

Cant be much longer to go now mummy - really hoping you have a good gain from her!

I got both the boys new coats today, Joshua's looks stunning, but George has slept so didnt get to try his on him until we were in town before - it is gorgeous! lol he looked so cute in it in his pram :cloud9:

Still shirt hunting...... lol

Yeah the waiting sucks, all we have is the preliminary report she wants us back in to talk after shes done with the questionaire thing, although I thought she'd have done it already lol. Our ped has been pushing for this with us thankfully. Our little guy didn't behave any different to normal tbh he sort of just blanked everyone but got pissed of when they tried to take his toys lol. Does Milo have any odd habits or obsessions?

i've been recording some things and putting them on my youtube ( username twotonearmywtf ).
he loves to line up random objects on his table, stack, always flailing his hands, likes to shake his head back and forth. he hates if you dont do what he wants or if you try to change something he's doing. he completely zones out and like is in his own world. twirling, a lot of pacing back and forth.
and mind you he's been doing this for a very long time which is why i was so sure in my instincts.

Yeh my guy does the lining up and ordering of things. Ruaridh does some very strange stuff like when he takes off hi shoes he has to take off his socks and he has to smell his feet, if he doesnt get to do this he meltsdown, his latest thing is having to smell every flower he comes across. He does have obsessions with using the toilet, handwashing and any kind of machine, does Milo do any of this? Ruaridh speaks very well but its all matter of fact and generally a monotone unless he's excited or angry. He also hates people, he got really upset that there were other kids in the mcdonalds playplace, telling his daddy to get them out. Hopefully we both get proper answers for our guys soon:hugs:

cute baba in his new coat :cloud9:

I bet you're relieved Brandi!

What a cute coat New!

Mummy, did you say dust storm? Whew. You have some crazy weather!

OMG Ive been messaging people on ebay asking if they'll put their shirts on as BIN now instead of auction, and loads are being so kind and offering them at low prices, and to send them 1st class ive felt obliged to buy them lol - i think i have a total of 4 or 5 shirts on the way to me pmsl Least I should get one to go with the trousers quite well

Yup Bizy a huge dust storm, UK ladies if you google the sun newspapers website the storm is even covered there:wacko:

No need for coats here lol its like 114 today.

Man sweat

Well Eilidh is 8lb 6oz:dance: Definately not out of woods but no hospital, her feeding routine got switched again:dohh: Now bfing with 1 cereal and 2oz fortified ebm and 1 bottle feed of 90mls fortified ebm. Apparently she puked so much on the formula as the directions they gave told us to add a tablespoon but you meant to add a teaspoon:dohh: She's delayed for motor skills atm but due to the failure to thrive shes going to assess her again on the 28th july, if its still a problem we'll get early intervention so physical therapy. It went really well though!
