Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

:happydance: George has fed and is blistfully asleep. We found a position most comfortable for us both, kind the football hold way lol Looked a bit odd, but least he fed well and I was comfortable and relaxed for him :) I can also feel the 2nd lot of tablets kicking in and feel a little better now finally. I can breathe in without pain, thats reassuring lol

Hopeful great news your body is getting back in shape! And way to go 24 in your jeans :)

My shape has changed loads after having George, but then I did lose a lot of weight so as soon as I had him I had lady curves I havent had in a very long time. My shape also changed drastic after Joshua because I was so super thin before carrying him (like a UK6!) when I had him I was a healthy UK 10-12 shape (similar to what I am now) so I had nice curves then too. I guess both my oregnancies have restored my body to a healthy shape. This time i will maintain it though and not put loads of unneccesary weight on, Im much better educated on what my body needs this time :)

My ribs are a completely different shape and much wider too. xx

My boobs are much bigger

I will get a photo of George next to some wipes when he wakes lol I cant believe how much heavier Sam is, he so doesnt look it at all. Or maybe its just George who's weight looks deceptive, because there is nothing about him that looks dinky lol

So glad you feel better new, bet both you and George are relieved to feed properly! You can see from your pics you have a great shap you're very lucky:flower:

24, he's adorable:cloud9: He does look smaller than his weight suggests but he's broader than expected, big shoulders!

All Sam's weight must be in his shoulders then, haha, as I really dont think he looks bigger weigh wise than George and Bethany, yet he is much heavier?! xx

lol far from great but it is far healthier than it was pre-pregnancy lol maybe I should do another pregnancy, seems to have a good effect on me

Well it is what we have all been telling you new. xx

24 he certainly doesnt look bigger weight wise than George hun, I think George is made of feathers because he looks big lol

Fab news hopeful! 24, yay for getting back into your jeans.

New, glad the football hold worked.

Wiggler, Bethany looks so big in her bumbo!

Mummy, I'll have to get a pic of Luke with the wipes too. He's a little chunker! Has to be at least 13 lbs.

My son ws a similar weight to Sam and he was very broad shouldered, still is so it could well be that. Whats your DH's shape? He doesnt look bigger though you'reright just different shape.

Eilidh looks weeks younger than all the other babies, hopefully its not going to stay that way

Is anyone elses LOs ready for a bumbo or sit up seat?? George has some head control, but totally not enough to sit up. Bethany looks in absolute control bless her!

OH is slim build but had heavy bones, and Sam has huge bones if you squeeze his arms and legs. :p

Sam's not ready for bumbo, he hates the pram though so am trying to decide if he has enough head control for the buggy?! xx

New

Bizy, would love to see him next to wipes!

24, yeah my hubby is slim too but he does have very big shoulders.

No bumbo here for at least another 3 months, lol I did ask the nurse but they need semi decent head control

new- i tried mine in a bumbo last week, and again yesterday, hes good for like a min.. so no not quite yet maybe in a couple weeks. I think he'd be OK longer, but I'm such a paranoid freak I'd rather wait.

As for size, mine was 11lb10oz(i think, don't remember exact #) 2 weeks ago and has been gaining about 1lb a week so he's prob about 13 lb now, he wears 0-3 mnths, size 1 diapers.. we donated all the NB size clothes 2 weeks ago, a bit pissed cuz most of the stuff he never wore that was NB was very expensive so I just kept those to maybe gift them if any friends get pregnant.

I tried George in my pushchair bit of the pram 24 and the straps are way to big for him, he no way fits in it, so Ive been using the travel system bit as the carrytot bit gets quite warm for him and with im being much more awake and alert he gets fed up lying down all the time.

If George hadnt been weighed on a different set of scales this week I'd be inclined to say the scales were wrong with his weight, he just seems so light compared to lots of the May babies, and yet is in the biggest size clothes  he is still in size 1 nappies though! And hopeful George wore very little of his NB stuff, Im so glad I didnt go OTT and only had minimal amounts of NB, although slightly annoyed so much of my 0-3 is trousers because they also dont fit well!

Think he will just have to moan or use the carseat too....
When is George next weighed? We are a week on wednesday. xx

I think I will take George a week on Wednesday too. She wanted me to keep an eye on it, but I dont think it will be necessary to take him next Wednesday as he was weighed in baby clinic this week. Im worried if he keeps going weekly and keeps dropping off his line I will start worrying, I'd prefer to leave it and let him do his own thing, just keeping an eye on hisweight from a distance, if that makes sense. I know its important, but I dont want it to become an obsession.
