Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Trying baby on boob, see if I cant get him back to sleep, patting is getting us no where lol wont iron and feed sure there are H&S risks

Sounds like me, New- One in the wash- one in the dryer- 3 in FRONT of the dryer- one in the basket next to me to be folded, which let's face it is just joining the pile in the hell corner later! and about, ermmmmm, 2? 3? on the floor in our room :dohh:

Thanks heyy, I still haven't had AF so dont know if/when I was to be late and didn't get much info on the phone. Its not meant to be right now though.

I think the collections of laundry are pretty normal, lol there's often various piles around here of loads waiting ( thankfully they're in the wash room) then loads waiting to be folded then the folded ones waiting to be put away:haha: There's usually a load of wet sheets here too new from at least 1 of the kids then there's all the towels, I swear they breed:wacko:

So glad Im not alone lol - ii have a washer/drier combi so can only wash or dry cant do both lol slows down the entire process, its ok in the warmer months when I can hang it out lol

george looks pretty drunk off the boob but not asleep :dohh:

Ugh- our towels have LEGS! I swear they get up an run off! :haha: I have about 20 or so towels, with 6-8 of us and I DO NOT reuse towels, 20 is not enough some days- but I'll be damned if I can find the *******s when it comes time to wash them! (minimum of one load every day is towels)

We may as well have a combi, our dryer takes 3 1/2 hours to dry a load:growlmad: Awww at George:cloud9:

Walking towels  We dont reuse either but there always seems to be about 3x the amount of towels actually used in the wash pile.

Our interwebs may be turned off any day (We chose to put off the bill til next week in lieu of Christmas  ) So if you don't see me for a few days, no worries and have a lovely Christmas! Everyone give your May Blossom Baba a big kiss and squeeze from the girls and I :kiss: and all the siblings and other loves as well!

No problem- glad it's working for you!

the longest I'll be out is til Tuesday or Wednesday- And maybe not even that long- I have to go down and pay it tomorrow- (We have the $ but it's a check and I can't find my ID  ) and I'll have to WALK all the way down to the pay station to get it done (About 2 miles) or try to brave the bus with two infants... NOT.- and it's Christmas Eve so they will be hectic busy (in a shipping/post store) So we may just skip it til Monday, which means it will go back on Tues... *sigh. I hate money and the need for it and our LACK of it. We do okay, and especially when you consider the size of our family and only one modest income and not on government aid- but the constant juggle gets tiring. Sometimes I wonder if it would really be so bad to get help.

If you are entitled to help you should get it hun! i used to be so like that (and in a way still am) but so many people who do not need the help, or dont help themselves more to the point, claim and get so much. I doubt they'll be open Monday hun, its a bankholiday - least it is over here - do you have bank holidays?? lol

He is asleep now for sure, i think

 i;ve been following the chatting and what not. just haven't responded

mummy- :hugs: maybe next month :haha:

laundry always stacks up over here. i'm lucky if i fold it once a week. which usually is about 3 loads then i have my diaper laundry i do every other day.

Yes I agree with new, if you're entitled there's no shame in getting it! You pay your taxes hun, better they go back to you:thumbup: We also live on one income, we're eligible to get medicaid for Ruaridh and I think Eilidh and possibly Anja too and we're seriously thinking about doing it. There's programmes out there that can help, WIC can help with food and milk for a start.

Hi Milos! Lol not next month, I'm going to take a back seat and let new get on with first new mayhem:winkwink: Hows Milos and Ava doing? Ruaridhs got a new thing, he's going on and on about power:wacko:

:hi: milos hunni! Hows you and your little munchkins?

I really should try the american way and take out the ironing stage lol - sounds so much simpler lol

we do get WIC for formula- formula for these two runs about $500 a month- we signed up as soon as we found out there were two in there!
