Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Mummy- hubby has offered me a job in The shop:growlmad::nope: I like cooking in the house but not all day! They are selling cold sarnies but are also doing bacon/sausage butties, breakfasts and lunchtime dinners I.e. Shepherds pie, chicken curry, spag Bol

Waiting for a bonus before going is a good idea, may as well! Buying and selling them yourself sounds complicated, worth doing if you can make some money though. I hope the shop takes off so you can stay home hun:hugs:

Oh harvey definitely stay and get your bonus hun!

I really hope the little shop works out!

My neighbours have been screching their crap music through my walls again, and so icalled the non emergency police and they sending someone round to tell them to shut the hell up  she also give me some details and a refernce number to sort a complaint out with the council for noise pollution! I wouldnt mind if it was a little quieter, or less frequent or maybe even decent music! But it is starting earlier and earlier in the evening and going on until like 3 or 4 or 5am!

Does anyone know where I stand if th following should happen:

My company relocated and paid me my travel costs, that was nearly 5 years back. I'm sure it should have only been for a year or two but they haven't stopped it. When my mat pay stops do you think the computer will show/issue my payslip with this payment on only:shrug:

That's horrible Hun! Definitely don't put your speakers againt the wall then :haha: hopefully they'll stop as soon as they get a complaint:thumbup:

How do you mean hun?

If they were due to stop it may well stop once you go back to ordinary pay as the computer will kinda be resetting itself ... maybe

Sorry I dont know Harvey but I hope it works out:flower:

New:hugs: Really hope they get into enough trouble they stop with the incessant noise!

My company has paid me this extra payment since moving (travel costs) and it shows up on my payslip seperate to my wage, even on top of my mat money when I'm not even travelling:dohh:  but once my mat money stops this month, until I return to work in may, I'm sure this extra payment will still want to be issued on computer then they will see it.

Oh I see... ahhhhhh hmmmm only time will tell on that one hun!

Took the police 15 minutes to get here - thats quicker than most emergency calls lol

Would also dend on how nice your company are. When hubby was not pay the right health ins premium, they had just him and not him +family they didnt make him pay back the difference and that was about 10m where he was paying $300 not $700:thumbup:

Thats very quick work for the cops there new:thumbup: Has the music stopped?

I'll act dumb and say it wasn't a fixed time but offer to pay back the money during my mat time:thumbup::shrug:

Will they know it was you who called ?

No, the police man just rang me back, he drove passed the house 3 times then knocked on, he said he could hear the music balring and there were many elderly and young people on the street and they should turn it down, apparently there was some language issues as they are Polish, but the policeman said he got an apology and they said in broken english they'd be quiet, so fingers crossed, but any more noise at all ring straight back and they'll get an interpreteur to sort it!

I cant hear the music :)

I wouldnt offer to pay it back hun! Tell them they did not specify a time for the extra payment so you werent to know! They'll probably write it off as an admin error loss xxx

:happydance: no music!

I'm not going to offer the 5 years back, just the maternity time I wasn't travelling but only if they get arsy!
I doubt they would write It off, they over paid the agents fuel costs even though the lads pointed It out to the payroll woman and she told them in a very sarcastic voice it was right And a year down the line when someone else realised the error they had to pay It back over a 2 year period!

kids went to bed fine, a bit of whining, but didnt take too long. I help my hand out to OH earlier cos I just needed some - any - physical contact with another person that isnt my kids, he whined that he was tired and didn't take it. Just another day in the life of me. Maybe tomorrow I will wake up and not be such a reject, but miracles are rare...

Wiggler, hon, you are not a reject- you a a wonderful mom and a fabulous friend- you can't let HIS inability to emotionally connect with anyone (Including his kids) to bring you so low-

Harvey- been good- they are really clingy right now- but makes for a nice day of tons of baby snuggles :cloud9: I think we have more teeth coming in- and I KNOW they are having a frowth spurt- a large can of formula should last 3-4 days and was just opened yesterday morning will be gone by mid day tomorrow  Running through diapers extra fast, too- we were budgeted though tomorrow (Paycheck came in today) but now figured out tomorrow is a bank holiday here :dohh: will be stretching it REALLY thin. I F*ing hate being broke!
