Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

If i could guarantee myself a girl I may consider it, although I quite like just having boys hmmmmm... stop putting ideas in my head lol

Next had loads of new stuff in the other day, when you said you saw them cute suits I was like no fair we dont have them, went in to see what they had and they were there with loads of new stuff.. i was like a kid in a sweet shop lol

24- I love next too but it's quite expensive for something that's just going to be worn a few times. I bought a few things that were on sale a couple of weeks ago and they are lovely!

I dont mind if i have a boy or a girl next, just so long as they're as laid back as Josh :haha: It's funny because i always wanted a girl and now i love having a boy!

new- How are you finding your pram? I think i've got the same one as you and i'm gradually getting more annoyed with it!

I keep thinking that I want a boy next, then I change my mind and want a girl, then boy, then girl... maybe I should just have boy/girl twins :haha:

meow, my pram is going back to Mothercare tomorrow! I have the receipt and guarantee here ready. Its a pain in the rear!

I always said I wanted girls too, but the boys are amazing! but Im sure if I had a girl Id love it just as much xx

Whats wrong with your prams girls? :( xx

And Next is expensive, so I sensibly wait for the sale, same as in Pumpkin Patch and Gap. :D:D xxx

Well mine originally wouldnt lock into position when putting it up, I had to manually lock it in, but now also wont lock when putting it down so I have to lift it complete holding it together I cant use the handle so its quite heavy to do. Nothing major but blinking annoying.

When the kids are a bit older though, Next full price is competitive. Its not that much more expensive but washes and is far more hard wearing, so you dont have to replace as often! Some things are silly priced, like £16 for a little jumper thing, but most of it is reasonable. the coats etc are so hard wearing and at £28 really can not be moaned at, supermarkets etc arent much cheaper but last no where near as long, I get 2 years out of a Next coat if he doesnt grow lol

I have my eye on some bits now, whoops. :D:D xx

I'll be stocking up on sleepsuits in bigger sizes at the next Next sale the quality is the best I have experienced in all of georges. When is the next sale do we know?

Usually very end of july. :D Ill be doing the same with sleepsuits and vests - They are the best ones we have bought too. xx

new- I wish i could take mine back! This is what's wrong with it and what i hate:

- You can't use the raincover with the carseat on the pram, you have to buy another different raincover!
- Josh is nearly too big for the carrycot, at only 9 weeks! He's way too young to be in the pushchair mode.
- He's too big for the newborn insert on the carseat but again isn't able to support himself enough to take it out.

It's just a pain in the arse! I have really gone off it. I want a parent facing one, i was looking at the mothercare one which you can have as a pram or a pushchair which faces you or away from you.

We had some sleepsuits from next. They are gorgeous and such good quality but those are the ones Josh outgrew the quickest!

Bethany just did a HUGE poop, so I take her nappy off and she immediately puts her feet in it  then she started squirming round, covering her changing mat in it, then she carries on fidgeting as I'm wiping her covering my hands in it  The whole time she was grinning at me :haha: I've forgiven her now though, we are having cuddles :cloud9:

Oh yes the raincover! OMG! Does yours fit without the carseat? Ive not tried it on the pushchair, but on the baby carrycot bit it just doesnt seem to fit well at all grrrr and I knew I needed a different for the travel system before I bought it, didnt get one though so got caught in the rain the other day lol But the carrycoat George fits in ok, well i think he does I havent used it recently because it made the pram so much heavier to lift into the car with it not locking, and also took up more space. And I was worried George was too big for his car seat too but 24 tells me its ok for them to bend their legs! I do need to move the straps though they come up and over not down and over.

I haven't tried it with the pushchair. I feel like Josh is too small for that mode yet and i like him facing me while he's so small. I didn't know until today that i'd have to buy a different rain cover

Josh isn't long or anything he just doesnt fit right in the car seat. If i have him sat how he should be the padded bit that their bum sits on ends up behind his back. He would fit if i took the newborn insert out but i feel he needs the extra support until he can really hold his head. I'm buying a new one anyway as it's got £60 off and will fit him up until 4 years! May aswell get it while it's on offer.

wiggler- Josh did that the other day and it was so disgusting! He also had a grin on his face, i'm sure they know :haha:

Yes I dont like the NB insert on them hun, he doesnt seem to look comfy! But my friend has same pram she bought 2nd hand and the NB insert isnt as padded as its more worn and hers looks so much more comfy. She said I should take it out and sit on it until it flattens out a bit, but Im not sure about that! I put george in the pushchair bit once, just in the house to see what it was like and he is way too small for it!! Only time Ive used that is when he fell asleep in my arms while we were out and I had the travel system set up, I took the car seat off and let him lay on a blanket thought that would be more comfy as we werent moving anywhere. I am glad I got such a bargin price for it, Id be more annoyed if I had paid full price!

Okies karate time - and I have my chest pain, although I been very very sick so its not as bad as it could be!

Livi does seem very long all of a sudden how long is George now New?

Wiggler Livi has faint marks on her eye lids still & the mark on the back of Bethany's neck is it just below her hair line?
If so they call it a strwberry mark, very common in girls i don't think it goes but may fade Ashten still has hers but we've only just realised as u don't see it because of her hair Livi has one too & a birth mark on her back that the doc says will go by she's 3 or 4?

It is on half of her left eyelid, on her forhead between her eyes, a £2 coin size patch on the back of her head and little spots of it from the big patch down to her neck
