Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I'd welcome AF now, so er, take note and hurry up!! :p xx

Just back from a cool soft play place and kids napping:happydance:

No AF here please, I hate the witch lol

Sounds messy Lisa!

Why would anyone welcome their AF? lol Im in no rush for mine to return lol

 Joshua just got up and said he was getting a drink, as he was out the door he said oh and getting a wee, so as a joke I saaid he could only do one not the other and not be greedy lolol he thought I was serious and was dancing around holding himself trying to decide which he wanted more lol oops mean mummy!

 @poo-plotion!

Mummy- I will be getting a second bouncy seat, 2 umbrella strollers and the connectors to turn them into a double, the handle extensions for the strollers (I'm 5'6" and have to stoop, Hubby is 6'2"!) a few more bottles so I don't have to scrub and sterilize half way through my day and all this in addition to my every paycheck case of diapers :) (I'm down to 4 1/2 cases and it makes me nervous :dohh: ) so actually we're looking at closer to $130 (What's rusk?)

The 8 year old nursing should be considered at the very least child abuse, even crossing over into sexual assault. It's beyond gross.

Heyy, this is a link to the product but Ive no idea how best to describe it or what I can compare it to for something you might have over there instead.

https://www.boots.com/en/Heinz-Farl...Heinz Farleys Rusks reduced sugar original 9s

Ewwww rusks  My mum always told me about how nice they were and she bought a pack for Dylan when he was little, she gave him one and had one herself and I tried a bit of Dylans, YUCK! They were soooo sweet, I checked the packet and they are 30% sugar  Needless to say, my mum finished the pack instead of Dylan. The reduced sugar ones are apparently 19% sugar.

I think rusks contain gluten which is a no-no before 6 months.

Oh you can get them.. although seems lot priceier than ours!

https://www.amazon.com/Heinz-Farley...XO0M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310850171&sr=8-1

OK, got the percentages wrong https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/622098.stm

Rusks are suitable from weaning hun, so depends which expert you liosten to that can be 3,4 or 6 months but they existed forever and if they were that bad for babies they wouldnt be so popular I dont think. Joshua liked the narna flavour  lol

Hey, the Hot Kid Baby Mum-mum rice rusks seem to be the similar sort of thing more widely available to you, seems healthier than ours too lol

They say they are suitable from any age, but the guidelines say to avoid gluten before 6 months.

Would hungry baby milk help the girls hey? Livi has it now & seems more settled? x

hopeful - i've seen that video like a year ago. and yeah, totally freaks me out and i think its just plain ridiculous. it's good she can BF for so long. but there needs to be a cut-off age.

lisa - very lovely pics of Daniel :D

me and OH are going to the movies tonight and my mom is gonna watch the kids. although i'm super tired. i went to bed at 3am-ish and woke up at 8:30. couldnt fall back asleep. OH slept from 3-11 and when i woke him up to feed ava he said he wanted to take a nap  i said no way! it's the weekend, you're waking up to help with the kids.

So glad our grocery shop is done for the week now:haha:

Hey, rusks are essentially baby biscuits, I like them! I didnt know you could join umbrella strollers up, thats cool I like the stroller I have now that takes 3 of my 4. You must get through so many diapers!? Are you a SAHM or do both you and hubby work?

The video really is creepy, I cant imagine my nearly 7 year old bfing:wacko: I would go up to age 3 but probably not much longer than that.

New, I agree narna rusks are foul

Have fun at the movies milos!

Anyone here watch ghost whisperer? I'm more than a bit envious of melindas wardrobe

I am a SAHM and have been for 2 years, by my choice but with hubby's full support- :cloud9: I love being a housewife even though in this day and age it's hard to make a go with just one modest income, we make it work and I'm a genius at stretching a dollar :)

We don't have hungry baby formula here- at least I don't think so...

WTF is narna???

:haha: Narna is a banana

I love being a housewife too, my DH is very old fashioned for a young guy and was so pleased that I want to stay home too. Can you imagine the childcare costs anyway!? I hear you on stretching a dollar, the economy sucks atm and raising 4 kids hasnt gotten cheaper:dohh: What does your hubby do?

We are both very liberal, forward thinking people that just happen to have old fashioned family values. My husband is quite young, also (29) and surprised me when we met with how much his values set nicely with mine  I may end up getting some pt work in a few months, but only when he's off to watch the girls and just so we can sock $$ away for a bit and get into a proper house with a yard, etc.

He's a chef and currently is cooking 3 days a week and bartending 2 days at the same place. the bartending came along accidentally (owners are friends and they needed help) but we're quite addicted to the weekly infusion of $400+ in cash from his tips- will be hard to give up when he goes back to cooking full time, eventually!

josh is like a different baby on the enfamil AR milk. he's taking 5-6oz a feed now which he's never done before band he's so happy!

lisa- daniel is gorgeous, he looks just like you compared to the avatar you used to have

So glad Josh is feeling better hun :)

yeah narna = banana, sorry heyy lol

Joshua got approached after Mass today and asked if he would go for some photo auditions tomorrow, and his head teacher from school was there and vouched for them. Its for a German line of clothing and they are taking the brouchure pictures in a few weeks. I think they clash a bit with the wedding so need some more info, but he is super excited lol

Sounds interesting new, whata a german clothing company doing in Wales though?!

Heyy, sounds a lot like our situation, my hubby is not even 24 until next month though:wacko: Can youe hubby not just stick with the bartending p/t instead of more cooking so you dont need to miss the $400?

Glad Josh is doing well meow:hugs:

Eilidh is just up (6 20am) after sleeping from 8 20, she's had a massive feed, puking everywhere lol and I'm sending her off with hubby so I can go back to sleep!!
