Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

inge- re your earlier posts, my HV said that josh will cut down on milk when he's ready to. He's not a big milk drinker but has cut down from 4 bottles to 3 bottles now. He has a bottle when he gets up and usually one about 2.30/3pm and then another at 7pm (bedtime). He's just stopped asking for/taking his late morning one. So i assume Leo will too at some point. I think some babies just need more milk and food for longer than others. Josh has never been a big eater so i think thats why he's cut down now.

Leo is defo more into solids. He has 3 8oz bottles but is now taking longer and leaving 3 oz usually of maybe 2 of his bottles and only drains his morning one. If he sees solid food then hes off!

Sam just likes food like Leo, and starts being silly as soon as he sees its milk time. He has been slightly better today on cartons instead of powder though. xx

Thanks for the tip new going to go try that. I stupidly pulled at the ulcer, then water picked it and mouthwashed it:dohh: Hurts like a:growlmad: Sorry you're so tired hun, anyway you can get a nap?:hugs: Btw when George is sitting does he try and get back down to the floor? Just I've noticed Eilidh is trying to get back down and seems to be deliberately faceplanting:wacko: Not that she does anything when she finally gets down lol, but she is definately aiming to get down, slow, slow, land lol

24 thats great he's taking more! Hows he doing with his practice walking today?

Meow is Josh still swaddled?

Heyy- :hugs: to you and the bairns, has hubby not got it? Or is he waiting till you've got rid of yours, then he can be waited on hand n foot in bed lol

New- early night for you dear:winkwink: hope george's botty gets better soon

Mummy - :saywhat: the day I go out I miss all the excitement of finding out if your preggars:dohh: Aaron face planted for a bit but soon learned to put his arms out lol, he just hasn't got the hang of stopping himself landing side ways on his head:wacko:

I wish Aaron would eat his solids, I'll just have to perserveer! He does enjoy his bottles still.

Not sure if I told you guys, Aaron started clapping his hands together n loves being praised for doing so! His two tootypegs are clearer today n he maybe getting some side ones as he's really chewing anything hard on the sides but I can't see anything:shrug:

Well done Aaron:happydance: Hopefully his new teeth come through painlessly hun:hugs: I'm sure he'll get there with his solids, what does he eat in a day?

I try and feed him his food in-between his bottles before or after a bottle so it varies day to day depending on what we have planned. I've tried both ways but he just doesn't seem to relate anything other than stick shaped as food:dohh: I even put bits in his mouth but they normally get spat out after a bit of face twisting lol

Lots of face pulling here too:haha: You're doing all you can do hun, he'll eat more solids as he gets older and finds more tastes he likes:thumbup: He will move on from just liking stick shapes too!! Hows Harvey doing? Any more pics?

Eilidhs blood test will be tomorrow now, left stroller in car:dohh: (Harvey did you sort your blood test hun?) Also they want us to pay $820 for it as its out of network :( right before christmas too:nope:

Leo has meals before bottle as HV told me to do as hes getting older.
8am ish;weetabix 1 whole one for breakfast, usually wants more though lately!
11-12; 8 oz bottle
1-2pm; 1 waffle and 1/2 fish fingers/pasta/or a sandwich made with 1 slice of bread and cheese or a spread (might get some cheese spread for him tomorow! thanks harveys) might have a little yogurt after too.
3-4pm; bottle
5pm; dinner. usually whatever we have. If we dont share he'll dive on our plates :haha:
Then his last bottle about 6-7pm then bed for about 6:30-6:45
Iv told OH he can play ps3 all night cos Im playing sims 2 and want to get lost in it. Had enough of screaming Leo for 4 days so I deserve it:haha:
OH was mean earlier. He took me to the co-op and he stopped the car, I took off my belt and he jerked the brakes and I jolted and bonked my head on my mirror :growlmad: He thought it was so funny so somebody didnt get the apple pie he wanted :haha:

Harveys Harvey lol he's now trying to nick his Christmas presents:dohh: he loves Christmas day as much as us for opening presents, he even tries to help me open mine, then me mam wraps them back up for him to do it all again at tea time:wacko: I'll have a look for some photos Hun

I could only get my bloods taken this Friday so will have to arrange to get results the following week and collect new prescription before new year!

Ouch at that cost before Xmas mummy:hugs:

Will you be ok without a prescription that long hun? I love hearing what harvey's up to, lol at him trying to get his pressies, you'll have to get pics of him opening his gifts at christmas with aaron! His granny spoils him:haha:

Inge that wasn't nice of your OH, witholding pie was definately in order:thumbup: You deserve your break hun:hugs:

Dont know if this link will work, but this comic has what Eilidh is being tested for, DH can do what this guy can do but without rhythm:haha:

mummy- No he's not been swaddled for just over a month now i think. Not 100% recommended i expect but i put him in a sleeping bag with his arms inside so he would be able to fall asleep and in the course of the night he would get his arms out. Once he done that for a week or 2 i just put him down with his arms out and he's been fine ever since! Thought it would be more difficult but wasn't too bad.

Is your LO still swaddled?
