Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

The underlay is here!!! Hurray! :happydance: Not sure what time Dylans nursery visit is, but as soon as thatts done we are going to start putting it down in the lounge and under Dylans "rug" :happydance:

We decided we are carpeting OVER the carpet we have already in the lounge and then getting a bigrug so there will be 4 layers in the lounge, it means that we will need a new lounge door, but I just want all the aggro to stop. There will be 3 layers of flooring in Dylans, the hallway will have 2, plus a rug and my room will have 2.

just had the neighbours up kicking the door and screaming at us to "open the fucking door" I can't live like this anymore, thats the last time I leave it to OH. I got up and what was he doing? Playing Sims fucking 3 on my fucking laptop. I don't want to have to passwordit and hide the PS3 controls every day again, but looks like I am going to have to. I am so close to kicking that **** out, I fucking hate him. Why the hell did I have to be stupid enough to have kids with such a stupid, uneducated, selfish ****!!! I hate myself so much right now, I'm obviously a shit mum

I know Dylan is annoying your neighbours at that godly hour but can't you contact the police and ask them how you stand with someone braying your door down with threaten behaviour, it must be harassment! Or contact your housing and ask them to have words?

You wont need a new door, just plane the door you have! I definitely think your need to prioritise the flooring in the flat above anything else atm If you cant face your neighbours I think you should write them a letter and post it to them, Apologise for the banging, tell them what steps you are taking to reduce it, but tell them how the kicking of the door etc is not helping, it scares Dylan and thats what heightens his tantruming. People are far more understanding when they have the facts, but you really will have to get up with Dylan or bring him in with you guys, or whatever works to stop him either banging or waking so early :hugs:

24 Im so sorry your MIL is putting such a financial strain on you both, forcing you back to work :hugs: I agree with mummy, OH works so if you cant go back to work hun the HB you receive will only equate to the tax you have, and OH still does contribute dont feel bad :hugs:

George is in nursery today  I havent stopped crying all morning. Im not in work (they had nothing for me today) but I took them at normal time (like a practise run for tomorrow lol). I had tears rolling down my face as I was handing him over, she invited me to stay for a bit but that wasnt fair on either of the boys (not that Joshua cared he went in without a kiss even lol). I cried all the way home then off and off all morning. I rang them a short while ago, he's had a nap and 1oz of milk but is a little upset. Thats making it even harder, I know I have to leave him there or tomorrow will be harder, but I hate knowing Im at home and he is crying for his mummy. This is far harder than anything and I really dont like. OH is working all day (he backed to backed his appointments today to free up yesterday for me), but he is going to pop in briefly in a very short while to give me a hug, that man is amazing!

 today is not good!

Aww New lots of hugs for u that must have been awful :( I welled up reading your fb status putting myself in your shoes :( Lots of love to u!

Wiggler i think i'd just have to get up with Dylan ill or not if he was quieter for me than oh & if also dh had to go to work it's always me that gets upto all mine haha?
There must be a way to pacify him though but no doubt you've tried most things?
Them banging on your door really isn't helpful though what time was that? If it was early surely they woke the other neghbours up?

I feel so lazy first day with both kids back at school ( i have done the washing up, 2 loads of washing & made bottles & erm brought some stuff from Newlook online ....Well the coat was reduced to £9 from £45 so it would have been rude not to ;)) But Livi has been in bed for ages & i've just sat here don't like doing noisy things like hoovering or tidying upstairs as if i wake her it's not fair so yes i have been sat on my ass but that's my fav thing to do!
Will go put the shopping away in a min & get little lady her lunch when she finally arises :)

harvey - I think basically the follow on has more iron in it, so its good to give it when your LO is eating some solids but not enough to get all the iron and vitamins. Apparently after 6 months LO iron levels can go down which is why they recommend follow on milk. However, if he's eating meat and veg everyday then he'll be getting the vitamins he needs. Weetabix has iron in it too. There is a lot of debate about it though as some research says follow on milk isn't any better than stage 1 and others say it is.

Josh went to bed at 7:30 pm with no dummy or fuss! and then only woke once for milk, went straight back down and slept until 6:30am.

Morning Ladies!! Hope you're all well!

Wiggler, sorry about your neighbour trouble. Maybe knock on their door and try and explain to them what's going on, and how you're trying to work him through it, and then also explain that when they kick at your door, it scares him, making it worse? If that doesn't help, maybe call your housing committee or the police, as others suggested, and find out what rights you have in that situation. That's unacceptable.

Harvey and meow, awesome sleepers you had there last night!

New, I know how tough it is to leave your baby. I had to leave Anberlin when she was 8 weeks old. Hang in there.

Sorry, haven't retained anything else. Waiting on CAS to come visit and have us sign the agreement.

Livi sleeps on her tummy everynight now i just lay her straight on her front as otherwise she rolls straight over & gets her sleeping bag all squiff?
But most mornings when she wakes she is a bit wet obviously the most absorbant bit of the nappy is at the back?
Do u think it would work putting it on back to front?
Don't think i need to change nappies as this doesn't happen when she sleeps on her back so it's not a problem with the nappy iykwim x

Yey to all the sleeping babies :) Livi went down at 8pm had a brief awakening at about 9pm & slept till i had to wake her at 8 ish :)

I dont think putting the nappy on back to front would work, but worth a try lol maybe buy a size up and use them only for bed time as they'll fit higher on her leg so hold more when lying on her belly so hopefully no leakage

Thanks for the cuggles, OH dropped in at 12.30 and has just gone (2pm) so I had huge long cuddle :cloud9: Although he was a git when he got here, I was in the other room, he lets himself in lol, and he came running through wheres my boy he's not in his bed or under a blanket I cant find him - git! lol He did make me laugh through tears though lol Then he picked me up and squeeze cuddled me for an hour, so he can be forgiven!

Ive decided Im going to go collect him for about 2.30pm, it'll be 2.45pm by time I get out, then I can take him round to the HVs for his check up (he lost another 2ozs arghhh). He'll be there tomorrow until 4pm, but I figured he has done enough for his first day, and to be honest, Ive done long enough too. Joshua is still going to after school club, so I'll pick George up then come home have lots of feeds and cuddles (boobs are FULL lol) and then cook dinner before going back for Joshua lol

Wud sounds like a lovely morning there, definitely would have been rude not to buy the coat! lol Hope Livi enjoyed her lunch after a nice long sleep :)

Meow and harvey great sleeps for the babies  George wasnt too bad last night, I think he only fed 2-3 times I honestly dont remember I was so drippy lol Could have been more but didnt feel like I woke too many times lol

Hope your appt goes ok Brandi!

15 minutes then I will go get my baby! lol

I think you need to go round to the neighbours personally as new suggested and apologise wiggler really, as much as it scares you. Yes they shouldn't have banged on the door but it is you/Dylan causing the issue in the first place and until you tell them, they have no idea of dylans issues and maybe they think you ignore him etc and let him get on with banging etc and so you need to tell them that's not the case etc!

Lots of hugs new!!!!!!!!! xx

I just rang the nursery and they have just settled him asleep, so I wont go disturb him. i think it will undo all their work if he wakes up to me, so I said Id ring back in an hour and get him when he's woken up. Apparently he's been crying on and off all day, but he's been ok. He is refusing the bottle for them :dohh: but he really doesnt need the milk at nursery he can have all his milk from me either side of nursery so Im not worried about that.

I wish i had asked for the online password so i could log in and watching him, they have 'nanny cams' in the baby room for parents, but I opted out of asking for the details because I thought Id be worse if I could see them holding him wrong, or ignoring him in favour of another baby (which HAS to happen sometimes I know that lol), but Im longing just to see him for a little second. I think i will get the details for tomorrow so i can peek if I get a few minutes between calls lol

New:hugs: Been thinking of you and George today hun, hope it went well both his nursery visit and his weigh in:hugs:

Wud, good bargain with the coat:thumbup: I'd say trying a size up nappy at night.
24:hugs:

Harvey, he slept well:happydance: Hope it continues hun.

Meow, glad Josh slept well too hun:happydance:

Wiggler, new and 24 give good advice. Make sure your neighbours are aware that there's a problem and you're making it a priority to fix it before this escalates to where you were in the old flat :(:hugs:

Milos. cute! Ava seems bigger hun, maybe just more grown up?

Brandi, good luck for today! What did the docs say about Zoes mealtimes?

Its Ruaridhs day off today lol, got Eilidhs physio at 1 30 so may go out this morning:shrug: Eilidh seems a bit bigger, hopefully shes catching up on what shes lost, I was hoping she'd be up near 14/15lb for the developmental pediatrician on the 13th, the doc is a scaremongerer:haha:

mummy just put lead in her nappy :haha: She's had a poorly few weeks tell the doctor to cut her some slack! Im sure me and you are not eating enough cake and chocolate, we need more calories in our milk :haha:

He wont get a weigh in now as clinic shuts at 3 I think, but we already know he has lost the weight so gives him an extra week to gain it again before HV can have an opportunity to nag me lol

Her geneticist said to contact the pediatrician and DEFINITELY get a referral to a nutritionist and a GI. The pediatrician is useless, but we have an appointment tomorrow to get the referrals. We also confirmed last night that Zoe is allergic to plum sauce.

:dohh: as I typed that she rang me! lol 'thought you were coming to clinic today' :haha: oops me bad! She said she'd like to see us on Monday, she has made arrangements for a doctor to be present too incase there is an underlying issue why he's not regaining his weight. She's also booked him in for his 8mth check on 24th Jan but Im not too bothered about that now, he is managing to turn on the floor, finally lol, although there is a weird question with one of his legs we need to get tot he bottom of there should be nothing else on his assessment for me to worry over :)

:hugs: for today:flower:

What's wrong with georges leg?

What do they check for at the 8 month check up?

Nice ti hear you got hugs of OH:cloud9: just what the doctor ordered:winkwink: or should I not go there lol:blush:

Nanny cam sounds like a great plan hun, at least when you really need to you can see him. Will keep the nursery on their toes too:thumbup: Good luck for monday hun:hugs: I'm thinking its the RSV making our 2 not gain/losing as they burn so much with all the wheezing and coughing :( Let me know what they say:hugs:

Lead nappy:haha: Have you seen futurama? She could do a nibbler turd in her nappy

Brandi:hugs: How many doctors does she have now?

I was just baking a lovely chilli chocolate cake and it exploded :(

harvey might just be me, but his knee seemed to pop out of its socket a few times and making his leg really floppy, but he is in NO pain at all so probably isnt as bad as it looks lol I'll update next week and infoerm you all Im a neurotic mother :haha: the 8mth check is to ensure he has met his 6mth milestones and check weight/length are in proportion etc think they check his co-ordination, this damm rolling question will air its head, major and minor motorskills etc just a general developmental check :)

mummy how on earth did you make a cake explode? rofl woops! Thats what you get for making minging sounding cakes :haha:

I forgot to ask about the nanny cam again.... but I was overwhelmed by picking him up, I will try and remember to ask in the morning!

When i arrived George was sat happily playing :happydance; and when he saw me he reached out and bounced up and down :happydance: :cloud9: - you can tell he's been to nursery though, rash on his face, a scratch on his cheek and pen on his coat :dohh: He hasnt eaten much or taken much milk, but he's had a good feed off me and some cheesey pasta and a pudding (baby chocolate pud as a treat!) and another feed  We'll enjoy a cuddly skin to skin night and empty my full boobs lol
