MC last week, still bleed and pain in my side.

Hi I had a MC last week, and have been keeping a low profile on B&B, however I still have dull pain on my left side and am still bleeding, although not entirely heavy, its thick. I suppose if I look back I have been bleeding in one form or another for nearly three weeks.

It was a natual MC, is the above normal?

Me too.. I didnt miscarry naturally.. but I have been having a pain in my left side.. no blood.. just pain.. weird.

Hi, i think you need to phone your epu or GP and get a scan, i bled for 3 weeks with my mc and my scan showed retained products and i needed an erpc.
hope this isn't the case for you but worth getting checked, i was later told all bleeding should be over after 2 weeks.

I didn't have a natural miscarriage but I bled for 10 days after my ERPC. I don't know but I would imagine you would possibly beed for longer if it's natural as it will take a while for everything to flush out. Maybe the pain is your body going back to normal?

I agree, call EPU. Thats what they are there for hun. Any worries, go back to them. 3weeks seems a long time for a natural MC. Very sorry for your loss. I feel even more for you. You probably wont get the closure until you stop bleeding. I know I didn't.

I think thats true about closure and bleeding. TMI but everytime a see it it serves as a horrible reminder. On a positive note my left side is feeling a lot better today. Many thanks for your kind wishes. X
