I went for my growth scan today and was told baby is measuring just under the 97th percentile, i am 32 weeks so how big should i expect baby to be? The lady was meant to give me the chart but think she forgot.

Hm, I'm not sure. Your baby is the biggest of the average though! That's good! Still lots of time for adjusting. Sounds like you've got a big one on your hands!

at 31wks mine was said to be measuring 95th percentile. he weighed 4lbs 9ozs and say to gain half pund per week. my dr said not to be surprised if he doesn't get to 10lbs. something about his abdomen and head were really big or something too. i have an ob and my chart stays there. i don't even get to touch it! have another growth scan at 36wks to see where we are at growth wise. i have successfully vaginally delivered and 8lb 1oz and 8lb 9 oz baby too. the bigger being an induction to preeclampsia too.

i feel like he is growing as we speak. running out of room in the there! :coffee:

You're lucky! Mine is under the 5% at the minute! Got steroids today and am being brought to hospital for the rest of the time to watch her closely!

Not sure about the centiles, but i had a growth scan when i was exactly 34 weeks pg and my wee chubber was already weighing in at over 6lb! Have another scan at 38 weeks so shud get a better idea then of how big she will be at term!

I am expecting that i will have a 9 or 10 pounder lol, i heard big babies are easier to push out?

Well your baby is on the big side of average, but still average. You may need to skip the newborn sleepsuits and go straight to 0-3 months! :)
