men!! (venting)

ok, so i'm 20 weeks pregnant and ever since my husnband and i found out i was pregnant I have been looking at names for both boy and girl and seeing what ones i liked and what i didnt, i've included my husband on every name i've picked and asked his opinion, and it seems like he just doesnt even care! i'm so fed up with going over name after name and having him say "no, no, no no". It wouldnt bother me so bad if he gave me a few name ideas of some names that he liked...but he hasnt done that..the only name he has said is "i kinda like Scott" and thats all he has said about it! i dont know if it's my hormones driving me nuts, or his lack of will to participate in any of the name picking for OUR child. I'm ready to say forget it! He will be in Kuwait when out baby is born..if he doesnt want to help pick a name now then i guess he will call our child whateer name i pick! He has been so good to me, doing all the cooking and cleaning and when we go to my appointments he is so happy..but when it comes to deciding on what to name him/her..he is impossible! Sorry for the rant..but this has been building up and i really needed to vent.

Awww hun, Sorry to hear you hubby hasnt been too helpfull!
Your half way so got another 20 weeks to go before you have to decide on any deffinate name. Maybe hes had enough about hearing about names(I know how men can be, and there hormones can be just as bad and there not the ones who are pregnant!!atleast we've got an excuse)! Im sure in his own time he'll just come up to you with a name he really likes and hopfully you'll agree If not then maybe it could be a middle name?Good Luck sweets

thank you =) i'm really hoping so..i haven't mentioned names to him in the last 2 weeks, since his shift got changed to nights...poor guy, that was hell enough on him. lol so i'm hoping he starts to come around too. =)

My other half is the same! he doesn't like any i say but wont help or say what he likes!! makes me so mad! i had one picked out cos he said i could choose then he kicked up a fuss so back to square one! and she is due Monday! He just says Ronald! (and yes we are having a GIRL!) so i guess unless he bucks up his ideas soon... we will have to name her once she is here! good luck tho huni, your not the only one xxx

oh wow Jade, yea if my husband pulls that i'm outranking him. lol
If he hasnt helped pick by the time he deploys, well hes stuck with what i pick.
I hope you come up with a good girl name =) Monday is coming fast!

I decided that weekend was naming weekend but that went to pot! so i guess we have to decide once she is here! you never know we might think of one straight away! and its monday! she has made no sign of coming yet tho! xxx
