Mens Voi and Penguin clothing

Does anybody know if the sizes are generous, small or average compared to other brands? Phil is usually a medium but in G Star and French Connection he has to get a large.

My DH needs a large in Penguin and in G-Star so they must be similarly sized. I don't know about the Voi brand though sorry. x
