Messed up cycle. What do you think?

Right, apologies in advance if this is a long one.

I'm on CD37 (longest ever since off BCP in Aug). I thought I O'd on CD16 going by natural fertility signs (cp, cm, ov pain) so I would now be 21dpo. BFNs on 18 and 19dpo. I have had 'symptoms' but think the main thing is my mind and body playing tricks on me.

So today I checked my cp, yesterday it was mid, central and kind of open. Today it is the highest I have known it to be, over to the left where it seems to go when high and really squishy. My cm is milky goo. Could I be O'ing sometime soon? Can you just not have a period and go on to a new cycle? Should I go buy an opk? I'm thinking of bding just in case.

Any words of wisdom would be gratefully received. I am trying to be realistic and trust the BFNs. Will test again on Jan 1st if nothing happens.

Or I O'd on CD25/26. Had some funny cm then. Which means AF due CD42. I'll go with that.

Edit: Have decided this really is the case and feel very stupid.
