Metformin - Any advice please

Hi I've currently been prescribed metformin as in June my periods were all over the shop 3 weeks bleed with few days off then bleeding again, well stopped for a whole week then started metformin around late June started like a full period lasted 4-5 days (is that normal?)

As majority of the time my cycles are 5-6 weeks apart, am I right in thinking metformin will make me more in sync like 4 weeks ?

My last bleed was 28 June so if this is classed as a period when will I more likely have my next period lol sorry if its all confusing lol

Just looked in my calendar I started metformin late June and had a period first week July around 3-4th so according to the fertility ovulation iPhone app I should of ovulated around CD15 so between 17th & 20th July...

So that should make me on CD27 today and 9DPO

Think I've got that right lol

Any success stories on metformin?
