middle name too much?

I think I've finally decided on a first name: Aliya or Aliyah (not sure on how I'll spell it yet) Do you think a middle name of Elaine is just awful? It's my mother's name so I wanted to use it (even tho she doesn't want me to bc she doesn't like it) but if it's horrible then I'll find something else. thanks for any opinions.

Oh, I like Aliyah Lane. Lane was actually brought up at my baby shower on sunday as a cute middle name (although I didn't have a first name picked out yet)

It depends how you pronounce Aliyah Ah-lee-ah, or Ah-lie-ah. Ah-lee-ah has too much of an E sound with Elaine, but I do like the suggestion of just using Lane.
