Middle seat belt question (UK)

Can a 7 year old sat in a booster seat use the middle lap strap seat belt in the back seat of a car? ive tried to look into it but cant find anything on the internet.

Um...i rang DVLA about a car seat question and tey gave me a number to call...maybe try that
