Can I take anything stronger than paracetamol?

Sorry GP, no you can't, All the migraine pills have things which we can't take.
If you can, lie down in a quiet room in the dark with a cool compress across you forehead and the back of your neck.

Also if you can, take the paracetamol with either a glass of milk or a cup of Peppermint tea.

Try to have a nap and not watch the telly, read a book or use the PC.

I get them alot and the above usually helps.

I've been off sick today with a REALLY bad headache which didn't clear with paracetamol.

I slept in until 2!! and feel much better for it.

I'm not sure if you can take anything stronger??

I have a feeling you can take acetaminophen (although I would double-check). Its stronger, but not sure how easy it is to get in the UK. Its very commonly found in the US. Hope its better soon.

Acetaminophen=paracetamol...
Ask a pharmacist Gypsy! There may be something, but I haven't had to resort to something stronger yet. I started bad headaches, escalating towards migraines over the week, myself

Have you has anything different in your diet in the last 24 hours? sometimes a change or something that you;ve never had before can bring on a migraine.
Sometimes its just the damn hormones!

when I suffered from migraines no matter what pain killer I took nothing could take it away once it started, I just had to sleep in a dark room.
