What developmental milestones should I be watching for ? Aoibheann is already lifting her head , and LOVES tummy time ! Her Daddy keeps asking what we should be looking out for , hes so eager for the first smile bless him .

Dont be obssessed about milestones, babies r difr. what u read is only a guideline. Some babies have better hand control, others prefer to stand up & use their legs. xx

Good point , Im not really I just want him to relax about it . OH is worried that we should be doing things to encourage development I think his stressing out , shes not even three weeks old and is already very alert and content .

Bless her lots of tummy time at this time is good. massaging her body will also strengthen her muscles. U can also exercise her arms & legs. expose her to morning sunlight, & keep talking & talking to her. Link words & songs to actions, by no time she will understand what u'r saying & react accordingly by cooing & moving her body instead of crying.
