Milk drying up

Not too long ago I was celebrating because I'd got my milk back up Now it's drying up I got my pump out this morning as I have to go out and leave Ed with my mum, started pumping away and got 1.5oz from both breasts. I haven't done anything different. Really need some advice on how to get it back up

No just when I need some due to going out and leaving Ed with someone else

Pumps not as good as baby. He probably gets more from you than the pump does x

I don't seem to be as full as usual either though, have been like this for a few days but thought it was probably just my milk settling back down

Try fenugreek saturday i cud only get 1oz now iam getting 4~5oz every 3 hrs ...but thats all my milk as i only express .....like toria says ur baby will prob get more out then any pump cud as he,s the expert xxx

Your milk isnt drying up hun. It's almost impossible to pump on a random basis past 6 months - you boobs just dont work like that anymore. I actually stopped pumping about 2 months ago for the same reason but your milk is definitely not drying up.

Like Toria said to get anywhere with pumping ESPECIALLY at this point you have to be in a very very strict pumping routine and even then expect half as much as you used to get, even on a good day.

If it were me and I have to leave some milk at this point, rather than having to start a strict pumping regime, personally I'd leave formula. But at the end of the day it's up to you. BUT PLEASE DONT THINK THIS MEANS YOUR MILK IS DRYING UP BECAUSE IT'S NOT!!

It think it's much easier a this point than the stress of getting piddling amounts pumping - it just gets in your head.

I was actually really upset as I put alot into getting my milk back to a decent supply for him and then sod all was coming out. Will have a small stock of cartons in the cupboard just in case. He does have a bottle at night but it's C&G Good Night milk

I can understand why you'd be upset hun but it's nothing you've done or not done. It's jst one of those things I'm afraid
