Milk first or Food First?

Iv been reading books on weanin as i will be doing so soon...but im confused...

Most books i have read said you give milk first however i read a book today that says you give food first??

What do you do? Is there a right and wrong way of doing this? x

Well I do both. In the mornings we give Hannah her bottle first, than her food right after. In the evenings I give her her cereal in between bottles...so she has a bottle at 4, solids at 6, and a bottle at 8 and than bed

When I first started giving Sam tastes of food I'd give him a milk feed first so he wouldn't fill himself up on solids and not want milk (I'd wait about 1/2 hour then give him food). Now he has water after his lunch and dinner and never has milk with a feed (but I do give him milk about an hour before his breakfast) x

I used to give milk first , then at 5 months I started with solids first then milk cause he'd eat half the jar and 6 onz on milk

I give him solid first as if i give him milk he falls asleep soon after he finishes his milk. And i believe as they are hungry in the morning they are more likely to eat all the solids.

Jayden have his solids every morning and have 8oz milk afterwards. What i do sometime i bath him after he had solid and then feed him milk where he will then fall asleep soon after he plays and finishes his milk.

My princess has a bottle first at around 8am then her breakfast at around 10:30am as she wont eat solids before then

My boy gets his bottle first in the morning and then his cereal 1/2 an hour later. Since we added a little fruit to his rice cereal, he now only wants 1/2 his bottle cause he knows he is getting yummy food afterwards.

In the evenings he was getting his supper at 5:30 and then his bottle at 6. He now no longer wants the 6pm bottle so we brought his 9:30 bottle forward to 7:45 and thats it for the night.

I give milk before solids as I have enough trouble getting Jack to take enough milk as it is!!
