Mia gets this every time. I try to keep her upright during and after her feeds but it always happens. anyone?

my baby used 2 do that but i was told by the doc he had reflux so i get sma staydown. have u said anything about it to a HV?

hey aqua
my LO used to do it for roughly the first 8 weeks after she was born...
i thought it was to do with her still trying to learn how to suck breath n swallow all at once (she ended up in nicu/scbu coz she coulnt do it when born) but she also used to gulp her milk, does mia gulp hun? i changed Rhiannon's teat flow and it calmed down a little x

I would definitely say this is reflux hun. My little girl done this all the time but it didnt last very long. You are absolutely doing the right thing by propping Mia after her feeds. Do this for even an hour afterwards in a little boucy chair and prop her mattress to say a 20-30 degree angle to that any milk coming up will slide down again. You could also get some formula that will stay down as vicky suggested but speak to your hv/dr.
