My doctor told me if I stopped breastfeeding at night that I would need to switch to something else. So if I am not giving a feed via breast at night is it possible to conceive? This scares me to pieces! I give a formula feed at night and if he wakes up early a.m. I breastfeed then. What are your thoughts?

That's not what I was told.

The mini pill is very effective regardless of how often you feed so long as you take it properly.

Ive just been put on the minipill and i was told as long as you take it properly its just as effective as the normal pill.

I'm on the mini pill too and was told to take it at roughly the same time every night for it to work, breastfeeding wasn't mentioned other than its safe to take during breastfeeding.
