can you eat mints during pregnancy?

Im going away tomorrow with 5 hours on a train, and i get alittle bit travel sick, can i eat mints?

I eat tons of them. Unless the mints have something harmful in them I think its fine.

well I suppose it depends on the type of mint. I think wintergreen oil is fatal in large quantities but I mean massive doses of drinking the stuff straight, not eating a pack of lifesavers.

I wouldnt worry about the mints. I think you are fine. They helped me with my nausea and I ate plenty of them.

Absolutely fine, no idea why you might think they wouldn't be?

You arent rubbing the oil on you. Peppermint oil can cause uterine contractions and possibly lead to miscarriage if thats what you are thinking of but you are not rubbing the oil on your belly and you didn't even state if this is peppermint. There are all different types of mint.

The amount in the mints is so minuscule I wouldn't worry at all.

The only mints you need to be concerned about are things like energy mints with caffeine or other herbal stimulants or weight loss mints etc. not standard breath mints.
