Miscarriage yesterday

Hi... Started bleeding yesterday morning at 8+3 went for a scan and baby was measuring at 6w by the time we got home the most unbearable pain had started along with really heavy bleeding... Want this nightmare to be over and want to be pregnant ASAP to try and get this awful time to the back of my head!! How long does the bleeding usually last? When can we try again? Feel awful saying that, this baby was wanted but I don't want to keep thinking.. I would have been 3 months today, I would have been going for my scan today... Baby would have been due today. Hope you know what I mean. Thanks xx

I'm so sorry Babytotes.. Sending hig hugs your way. The bleeding can vary but for me with my mc at 7 weeks it that's for about 10 day. Really hope you get a sticky bean soon Xxx

So sorry for you loss hun...no one should have to go through this. I so know what you mean about the 'would of been' timeline. I m/c 6 weeks ago now and think about how far along i d be and stuff like that everyday but we are now on our 1st cycle trying (positive opk today) and i have found it has helped just knowing that there s now a chance again to be pregnant. I lost at 9 wks naturally and all bleeding was finished in 7 days with a few days spotting after that. Neg hpt after 2wks. First af was 29 days later. I think i ovulated 2weeks after m/c so unless you ve been told by docs not to you can try as soon as bleeding stops if you feel ready and you hear on here of many ladies getting bfp before their af (fertility is said to be higher in the 6months post m/c). Main reason said wait for af is so you can date the next pregnancy more accurately. Good luck, i hope you get your rainbow baby soon.

I had a mc about 3 weeks ago we started trying as soon as I stoped bleeding. You cant forget your due date it feels like you were running a race got so far and were told to start again. My due date would have beed xmas so it will be hard to forget and in a way I dont want to forget iykwim sorry if im rambeling . I know how u feel

My due date was New Year's Eve... It's going to be so difficult, but I know if I'm pregnant it will make it that little bit easier for us...

I'm hoping it won't go on for too long... It's been really heavy no idea if everything has come out that needs to, but this the start of day 4 for me and I've woken up with hardly any pain at all... Days 1 & 2 it actually felt like I was having contractions and was rolling around on the bed in so much pain!!

Poor you my hospital realy looked after me gave me codeine and tested my bloods down to 6 hope you feel better soon

i'll be going back to the hospital for a scan on 2/6, hopefully they'll tell me that everything is Ok and that I don't need to have an op. When will you start testing for a BFP 2nd Time? Lots of Luck...

hi babytoes. So sorry for your loss. I lost my little bean on February 23. I was around 7 weeks and baby was measuring at 6. I bled really heavy for about a week and then spotted for about another 3-4 days. Most physicians tell you to wait one full cycle before trying again.. Love and prayers to you in this time. It is not easy but I promise things will start to feel more manageable soon.

Hi I lost my baby two weeks ago tomorrow the bleeding lasted for about 7 days with little spotting after that. Sorry if this is tmi but I knew that the last bits had come away I was told when I had my first scan at epu that there was still a bit to come out and later that day it did. I went to a&e and was admitted over night for observation as I was in so much pain they took something away from my cervix and the pain cleared.
We are also trying again I am not waiting for af. The reason they as you to wait one cycle is so that the pregnancy can be dated properly. I am that desperate to conceive I have started using ov tests. The pain does get easier just take one day at a time and don't push yourself to hard xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think my bleeding is coming to an end now.. It will be one week tomorrow. I have a scan on Monday and if they give me the all clear we'll start trying straight away. How do you know when to start testing though?

I know it sounds mad hun but im just doing it if I have missed it this month then I have missed it, it wont stop me I just want to have a baby that's the be all and end all for me. As soon as I stopped bleeding me and dh started looking on info sites can last between 3 to 5 days so he is basically being attacked every 3 days lol hes not complaining im taking prenatal vitamins to. Doing this as I never got to the stage where I had to stop taking folic acid

I'm planning on doing the same from Monday onwards after the scan, but when do you take a pregnancy test if you don't know when to expect af? Do you just wait until you have possible symptoms?? I'm so upset about my loss, but so excited about getting a BFP again. I'm trying my hardest to push last friday to the back of my head, but I know when I go for the scan on Monday its going to bring it all back.

I know what you mean babytoes, about it being hard to erase dates from your mind. Next week I was supposed to be 12 weeks, which was what I was waiting for to go public about it, so that date sticks in my head pretty strongly. I always think, oh this week should have been this, etc.
I think we will all have a hard time in Dec when our babies were supposed to be due, there's no way we won't be thinking about it. But best of luck to all of us. So sorry everyone is in this boat!

somehow I do think the sooner I get another BFP the easier it will be to just forget this one and move on. Wishing a sticky BFP for all of you!

Baby I have takens a pregnancy test since my Mc to make sure my HCG levels where back to normal ie negative test. So if didn't appear I was going to test say in about six weeks again and see what happens as it is I think she is on her way been cramping today only slightly tho

I lost my baby on May 21st... still passing the occasional clot and spotting brown blood. My last HCG done on Thursday was 123.. one done on Monday was 400 and the Thurs before it was still up around 10000 so its coming down nicely. It was 59000 when I found out the baby had no heartbeat.

I think the only thing that is helping me through this is thinking about getting pregnant again. I too should have been announcing at the end of this week. Had taken pics of my son in a big brother shirt all ready to go.

Did a hpt this morning and it tested positive, its been a week and 4 days since I started bleeding... Do I need to wait until this tests as negative before we start trying again?... So confused by all this but we want to start before AF comes and bleeding has almost stopped.
