I aren't sure if this post is allowed, however I need people's advice.
I started my new pack of pills on Wednesday, and missed one on Saturday. Had sex Sunday morning, then noticed that night I hadn't taken my pill the night before. Took my pills Sunday night and every day following, however due to missed pill I'm not protected now. If I had missed the pill on Saturday night had sex Sunday morning, and ovulated Tuesday night (had the pains although day 11 is early for me) how much of a chance is it that I'll be pregnant? Would the sperm live that long? I didn't get the morning after pill because I usually always ovulate on day 15

The sperm can definitely live that long, during peak fertility when our mucus is less acidic and less deadly to sperm, they can live up to 3-5 days I believe. If you did have unprotected sex during peak fertility which would be right before and during ovulation, then I would say there is definitely a good chance. You're well within the window of time. xx

I've had a quick look in my pill book and it says if you miss one pill just to take it when you realised you missed it (as you did) and then to continue with the rest as normal (which you did), it also says you wouldn't need alternative contraception unless you miss more than one pill in a row so you should be ok but if you are worried wait a week or so and do a test :flower:

I'm pretty certain I'm ok, but for two days I've felt so nauseas, I know it's too early for symptoms so it's probably from me worrying, but I just wish I could know! I don't think I'll be pregnant but every time I've been certain there's no chance that's when I've got my bfp! :dohh:

ohhh I'm basically in the same boat. So tired of being nauseous & everything. UGH!!

Keep me posted

I've recently missed two Cerelle/Cerazette pills on my first packet and I feel pretty stupid. I've been feeling ill too, even though I know it may be a wee bit early as I only missed the pills last weekend :/

The earliest I can test is the 14th, I'm due anywhere between the 16-18th, sick of waiting!!

I gave in and did a test this morning and to no surprise it was negative. I'm giving it until the 14th to test again so I actually know what's going on. :/

I did a test today, it was negative, it wasn't first morning urine though. So I'll test tomorrow morning too just to be sure. By my dates I should be due Sunday. I don't know how to feel really, I'd convinced myself I was so seeing one Lind was strange! Oh well! It's for the best anyway, and I'm sure df will appreciate the test has his valentines present lol!

Strange feeling huh? I have taken 2 tests since my LO was born- odds are all would be ok regardless, we needed fertility help to conceive her. But yea- it happens! I was horrid with my pill at first- once I forgot for 4 days! Ugh- and of course right in the middle of my pack! eesh- lucky negative tests... but even though I knew it was best (we really do not want more kids)- it still felt a touch odd to only see one line. Even though I saw a LOT of those for a LOT longer prior to conceiving LO! Go figure.

btw- one missed pill is Ok- long as you take it soon as you remember, then continue with the rest of the pill pack (not missing any). When I do that, on occassion, I just take it soon as I remember- then 2 that day (if I can spread it out far enough) or 2 the next day (morning/night) and all is good. If you miss 2 is when you need backup ;) I sound like a pill expert! buahaha
