My dad would of gone ape if i'd come home with a black/asian/japanese/anything else than white man.
He is very racist, annoyingly enough, so every time i did go out with anyone from a different ethnic origin i could never bring him home to meet my father, because i was scared and embarrased of the comments he might make.
When i told my dad i was pregnant, one of his first comments was 'it could be worse, because i could either be younger, single, or with a black man' - its infuriating how small minded he is!!!
Anyway, i've never heard of anyone not being able to bond with there child because there 'different' - at least i hope not!
I'm able to bond and love my OHs little girl even though she's not my own. And if you can love someone unconditionally without a blood tie - you should still be able to bond with a different coloured skinned baby.
