Hello, my daughter has been a fabulous feeder right from day 3 (breast milk supply was rubbish so midwife advised formula aged 3 days) and has been on Aptamil 1 from the start. She began drinking around 8 6oz bottles per day and throwing most of it up because she was too full, the HV advised small amounts of baby rice when she was 17 weeks old and we're now on to 3 meals a day and she has been doing really well. The past fortnight or so she's been really constipated. Not to the point where she's screaming in pain, she seems pretty oblivious to it actually, but after all the straining I find what looks like a little pebble in her nappy - not good. I have tried everything - boilt cooled water, prune puree, the juice from an orange in water, prune juice, bicycle legs, warm bath, belly massage - you name it! The doc gave us lactulose but even that doesn't work. I read on the box of Aptamil comfort that it's for constipation but as it's so thick (I'm using TT Closer to nature bottles with variflow teats) she's getting her hair off with how slow it's coming out and getting herself all worked up. I was wondering if I could mix Aptamil 1 and comfort in the same bottle to make it thin enough for her to drink, yet still getting some Comfort milk too. She drinks 6oz bottles, so I was thinking maybe 3 scoops Aptamil 1 and 3 scoops Comfort. Any advice is appreciated
