Mold in apple juice...really worried!

Morning, I'm so annoyed...i had breakfast in a hotel this morning and I drank the apple juice from the jug...when I'd almost finished the glass I noticed a large clear fluffy blob floating in the bottom...I've looked it up and it's mold!! Now I'm really worried its going to make me sick...and isn't mold the one thing they tell you to avoid because it causes miscarriage!!! I feel sick and gutted... (

Oh dear that's awful I am sorry that happened, you'd think in a hotel you would be ok! I've read on here that women have eaten undercooked meat, had stomach cramps and vomiting and STILL been ok, could you possibly check with your doctor or mw to put your mind at rest, I hope you complained! Xxxx

I'm sure everything will be ok. You likely didn't drink any of the mold directly. It'd sure gross me out, but mold can go on lots of food without contaminating all of it. I had some jelly one time with my last baby, and I noticed mold in the jar after I ate it. Baby was fine. I'm sure you will be too!

Call your doctor or midwife just to ease your mind, though!

nothing will happen..you eat mushroom right..its a mold....
if worried at all call your doc or mw

Oh yuck!!! Call your dr to double check but no use in stressing now... The worst it can do is cause u to be sick with bacteria but I don't think it would affect baby. Maybe it wasn't even mold ... I doubt a hotel would serve moldy juice . It would have to be really really old and would taste and smell aweful. Don't worry xx
