So I have two sweet girls and we prayed this time we'd have a baby boy, I love my girls and would have been totally thrilled with having another girl but we're not sure if this is our last and so we really wanted a boy, Lord willing, and He answered our prayer! Any how I am looking forward to the special bond between a mother and her son and having my DH have a son!

*Also just for fun, I know it's supposed to be an old wives tale but I really am carrying this baby so much lower compared to my girls! Anyone else?

I'm having a boy, due in 13 days! I had a gut feeling at around 8 weeks that we were going to have a boy and that was confirmed when I was 18 weeks. All I thought about from 8 weeks on were boy clothes, names, etc. It just felt right. :)

I don't know if I carried low, but baby was always right out front. I didn't get "wide" like some women do when carrying girls. My stomach looks like I just shoved a basketball under my shirt lol. I have definitely dropped a lot in the past couple weeks, though.

Congrats!!!Same here about the basketball thing, I don't remember getting wide with my girls either but they say if you're carrying girls you tend to gain weight all over as opposed to boys where they say you usually just gain all your weight in your belly ;) I know the high low thing is not always true but I'm definitely carrying a lot lower with this little guy than I did with my girlies.

I'm having a boy too, but this is my first so I have nothing to compare it to.

I'm carrying all out front, weight gain has been all boobs and belly. I'm not sure if I'm high or low though, but the out front part is true!

Other old wives tales have not been true though. I've craved sweets, had bad morning sickness (just got sick again yesterday at 24+4!), heart rate has been high. So a lot of things pointed to girl, but nope, he's a little boy! I even saw him kicking out his boy parts with my own eyes!

Interesting...I am 17 weeks with a boy and have so far only gained weight in my belly! I am little so look awful when I gain in the hips / thighs / face so thank you baby boy! Hope I continue to only gain in my belly!

This is my 4th boy, and I know I have no comparison only what I see from my friends, but boys seem so much more loving to their mummy. <3

Due with little Oliver James November 12th!

I'm gaining all belly/boobs. I've actually lost weight in all reality, I'm slimming down everywhere else. I'd say I'm carrying lower than what I did with my DD. I've had the most awful morning sickness, at least once a day. I haven't been craving anything other than sushi (YUM!) I had a gut feeling dear baby was a boy with how sick I was/am, just because I didn't have a day of morning sickness with my DD.

I'm looking forward to seeing my little gentleman, I'm so excited it feels like the days are twice as long to get through!

Mmmmmmm sushi! I was sick until about 15 weeks but I have also continued to lose weight because of my restricted diet due to GD, my pastors wife jokes with me and said "I'm going to stop praying for you! You're the only woman I know that gets pregnant and loses weight" lol

We are due with our little boys around the same time :) did you think you'll go early at all? I was early with both my girls by 2-4 weeks each time so there's a good chance I'll actually have an October baby! I can wait to meet our little Mr.!

I'm due my second boy :) if I could have chosen I'd have liked a girl, purely because I've always wanted one of each!
My ds is so funny and smart, not a 'typical boy' if there is such a thing, he is so sweet and sensitive, and loves to paint, so gentle with our cats and great with other children :)
I carry really high and big, with both boys!

I have two boys and they are fabulous. Very boisterous and on the go all the time but they are beautiful, my eldest is not so cuddly but my youngest will come and give me lovely cuddles. My eldest said I was his best friend today it was so lovely.

I seem to have carried differently with every boy I had had!

I'm really hoping I don't go early, I have a planned c-section for the 12th. I feel like the pain will be more durable if I don't go into early labor. I'm so ready for fall to be here!

I had the 'basketball under my shirt' look with my DS! Loved it! He's such a sweet little boy. Very calm and gentle and loves to do art and is a little cuddle monster 😍

Expecting a girl after 2 boys. You will love the bond you share with your son. Both my boys are mommies boys. My youngest loves to cuddle, as well as my oldest. And I definitely carried lower with them then this little girl. And I carried my boys all out front like basketballs under my shirt, no weight gain anywhere else. This girl I'm carrying her higher and wide. I feel so large this time around!

The bond between my son and I is something more special that I could of EVER imagined!:cloud9: I have a son and I'm pregnant with another boy. My son is SUCH a momma's boy and his love for me is undeniable, it fills me with such joy. DH always wanted a boy and our son is the IV so he loves that his boy will carry his name and he looks forward to all the activities and special father son moments they will share. Congrats having a boy is amazing!

And yes I carry low and look like I have a basketball under my shirt :haha:

Nothing to compare it to, but I think I am carrying low. No morning sickness, so nothing to compare there either. My mom had me thinking I would have a girl because she craved fruit with my sister and I, but not my brother, and I couldn't get enough fruit. But turns out it's a boy.

Weight gain has definitely been all stomach/boobs. I told my bf, I'm really glad we're having a boy! I know if it was a girl I'd probably be saying the same thing about a girl...but having a boy just feels right.

I carried lower with my first boy then i did my 2nd. and with this one (another boy) i'm carrying lower then i did with my 2nd

I carried my DS1 high and all out the front and this little bubba boy is the same. My mum looked exactly the same when she was pregnant with me.
