...WE HAVE A TOOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so ridiculously over-the-top excited it's untrue!!! She's been teething since she was 8 weeks old bless her.... but it's finally paid off!!!!!!
She's also mastered the art of sitting up by herself this week too!
For the last few weeks, she's been saying "Dadadadada" and when she sees one of the cats she says "A.....A....A..."!!!! Just trying now to get her to say Mum!!
On the downside though, she's been having a terrible time with her acid reflux,(You may have seen this thread: https://www.babyandbump.com/weaning-kids-nutrition/94342-weaning-reflux-advice-needed-long-post.html ) and we took her to see the GP a couple of weeks ago who suggested we stop her solids, as we noticed her symptoms increase as we started weaning. And since we have, she's been much more settled and sleeping better too. However, her weight gain has slowed down far too much (when she was weighed on Thursday, she was only 16lb 2oz, which was only a 6oz gain in 4 weeks!!) and so we've got to go back to the GP tomorrow to get a referral to a specialist, to see if there's a better medication we can try so we can get her eating again, as the Gaviscon alone isn't cutting it!
I've attached some recent pics - one of my faves being her first time sat in the "big girl seat" in the shopping trolley.... she looks so grown up!!!!
