Movement at 18-19 weeks

A bit before hitting 18 weeks and a few days after. I went through a stage where I didn't feel the baby at all. Got paranoid of course but worried for nothing, because around your time I started to feel the baby moving constantly. I've been getting strong kicks for the past 2 weeks. Are you getting lots of movement hon?

I was for a little while, and then for about a week it stopped and I didn't feel anything. I got really worried, but everything turned out fine. Now I'm feeling her quite often.

Just recently I've been getting good kicks from the baby, particularly after I drink a glass of orange juice. I still feel flutters from the movement as well. The kicks probably only started around 3-4 days ago and the flutters have been around for a few weeks.

Since Monday I've really been feeling him kick and move. Last night I was prodding away, felt him move away quickly then he prodded me back!
I was laughing so much, hubby thought I'd gone mad :)
:cloud9:

At 18-19 weeks I was not feeling movement "regularly" just once and a while. By 23/24 weeks I would say the movement increased loads and became more regular.

for me it's only flutters and tickling from inside. my mom put her hand on my belly and felt a little tiny kick 2 times. i guess she knows how it feeels from the outside.
i just can't wait for the baby to start kicking me on a regular basis.
i guess i should give it a few more weeks.
thanks everyone!

im 17 weeks and just started feeling it jiggin around most nights i think everyone is different :baby:

Im still not sure if I have felt any movements. My family can hear the baby if they put an ear to my belly, but I have not felt anything.

I had so many visible pokes today.
Lately, I am enjoying just laying down on the bed and looking at my belly. It calms me down so much, and it makes me so happy when I see an actual kick.

i started feeling def. baby movement at 18 1/2 weeks
didnt feel much until 20 weeks but when i did they gradually became stronger--- by 20 they were nice and strong kicks-- kinda slowed down a bit 21-22 weeks and now at 30 weeks i'd be worried if i didnt feel them everyday throughout the day--- its perfectly normal not to feel him/her all the time as long as theres def. movement throughout the day after 26 weeks they have u count 10 kicks in one hour twice a day preferablly morning and evening and then if u dont to drink cold water or orange juice lay down and try to feel kicks for another 15 min if nothing still then call ur ob immediately--- bettter to be safe than sorry---

so to make a long response short--- its perfectly normal not to feel him/her much at 18-19 weeks i would only worry about it if u were like after 24 weeks when it should be constant

I was feeling the baby really regularly from about 17-18 weeks and then all of a sudden it was like nothing, or if the baby did move it is not as noticable and not even every day now. Im glad to hear that others have had this happen cause I have been so worried that the baby wasnt moving enough and that something is wrong!

Nope.....it was around 21-22 when it started become a regular thing for me. Hope this helps hun. x

OH I am just dying for my baby to start moving. It is the one thing about pregnancy I have always looked forward to and wanted to experience. Now that I am right on the edge of it happening. Its driving me nuts!! :hissy:

I feel baby moving around when I'm sitting which I think is strange because most people feel it when they are laying down.

I was starting to get worried as I haven't felt my baby yet.. But it seems most of you didnt feel movement until 20 weeks onwards..

Do any of you poke at your belly to see if you get a response, does it actually work, my baby book says its good to communicate with your baby and they like kicking you back when you give your belly a little poke.. lol

I'd love to be able to do that and I have tried it, but nope my baby hasn't ever responded :0(

Must be to young still..

i feel flutters and little kicks but mainly when im sitting or lieing down and usually when i get in from work at night ive only been getting them about a week and half and the odd days i felt like i didnt feel it , such a nice feeling xxx

I was feeling little movements around 18-19 weeks, but then all of a sudden, they were noticeable...and now I dont go a day without feeling him in there. I always thought that I would find it wierd, but its pretty cool. It doesn't even matter what position I am in. He just loves to move around.:happydance:

I feel little pinches..I wonder if the little Smeagol :)rofl:) is giving me a warm up!
