LO has recently moved into her cot-bed and will not sleep through the night. She goes to sleep herself fine in the first place, but won't settle herself once woken up. She wakes up every couple of hours, and the only way to keep her in her bed is to go cuddle her in - which can take ages. Any tips? x

What happens when she wakes up? Does she come into you; cry in her room; something else?

If she is crying in her room i would just stay with the going in and settling her back down. Keep conversation to a minimum, don't turn the light on etc. She will start sleeping though more as she gets used to it.
If she is coming into your room it may be worth putting a stair gate across her door so that she can't. Explain what you are doing and say that if the gate is closed then she has to go back to bed. Then just let her get on with it.

Sometimes it takes them a while to get used to being in a bed.

Thanks for your reply :)
She does both - we've tried settling her down again, but she gets hysterical we get up to leave...
Last night was a bit better actually after I wrote this, she woke up once, went back down the slept through until 8.15am, suppose it will take some time :) xx
