Mucus discharge at 17 weeks? Mucus plug? x

Hi im 17 weeks today, sorry for the TMI but this morning me and the OH had sex and ever since ive had this horrible gloopy yucky discharge alot more than normal, sometimes it felt like i'd wet myself, I kept running to the toilet to check for blood, there hasnt been any, but im worried it might be the mucous plug as it seems really thick? Any advice ladies? Looks a bit like snot! xx

I had that through out this pregnancy. I was told that if you lose it early it will regenerate. So no worries

It could just be from sex and it can be part of the plug but you can lose bits of it from early on when doing physical activities....not just sex.

of you are worried call your mw xx

I had the same thing happen to me at 24 weeks! I told my OB she said most people lose their mucus plug and never even notice it, and it's like a big piece of gum, all that other stuff is just cervical discharge. Don't worry at all unless you see blood in it.

we have been on a sex ban since 18 weeks and its rubbish!!!!!!!!!! funny enough it was for the same sort of reason but i had a bit of spotting too (i have an erosion on cervix)

in terms of the d/c sadly......its man juice and regular d/c when things go up they have to come down and now there is nowhere else for it to go it goes all goey and solid like inside then starts coming out gosh it sounds grim but thats 98% probably the reason!

i went in to hospital for a checkover and had to sit there being told that by the doctor!! apart form i also found out ihad the erosion which was the bit of spotting xxx

Lol, bless you, I'm thinking of taking a trip to a n e I'm sure was getting what felt like BH this morning so might just go Get checked out just in case xxx
