Multiple losses, TTC #1. Anyone else?

I remember you posting about it on your journal and even though I don't remember the name, I remember thinking it sounded white-trashy (hope that's not too mean :haha:). But I also remember they stole the name Kay as a middle name or something along those lines and you guys wanted to use it in the future.

We are the same. My friend and I were TTC at the same time. Her baby is 2 months now and she rarely talks to me about it or sends me pics, because she doesn't want to hurt my feelings........ Hurts them more that you feel like you can't talk to me!

I got my BFP on V-day too. Hurt like a son-of-a gun!

C, I'm always so paranoid to share a name when I don't like it in case someone's like, "OMG, I WAS TOTALLY GONNA NAME MY BABY THAT" :haha:

It was Brynnlee or something like that. And yes, they stole the middle name hubs and I were going to use. Kay. It was his grandmother's name.

ha! I actually had a spouse of my husband's friend tell me that we were taking our precious time having kids and she loved the name, so what did she do? take it! :growlmad: I'll never share again until I have bump.

I'm not sharing names either lol. When I was pregnant before everyone kept critiquing our name chances. I don't want to hear the BS.

Saw this today and thought of us. I will always have faith in my future as a mom but I'm working hard to accept and live with what I have now.

Just remembered this thread. I have an appointment tomorrow with my doctor to discuss my 2 chemicals.

Any advice on what I need to ask? I feel somewhat silly going in for this appt, but I feel that it's necessary.

I think you should ask for a progesterone test. Recurrent chemicals I think are usually a progesterone issue. Or just request that they give it to you right away to take as soon as O is confirmed. I hope they will oblige! I hope it goes well.

Thanks! I'm torn between coming in there with dates, pics, my apps & a list of things to ask or going in there playing really dumb and seeing what she comes up with.

I know that chemicals are common, but I still need some reassurance. I think I will at least tell her I did some reading. She's a midwife and really good. I just want to avoid her telling me "oh nothing is wrong. just be patient" I know that's true but at LEAST check for Pete's sake!

First, CONGRATS ON YOUR BFP CONFUZION! I HOPE IT'S SUPER STICKY!

Next, Q: I am having RPL tests after 2 losses. I told my doc I didn't want to wait for three. He is also going to let me take progesterone and baby aspirin with my next pregnancy. Just be frank with your doctor. You're concerned. My pregnancies got a bit farther than chemicals (8w and 6w), so that might be why my doc is more key on letting me do some testing. Some docs won't.

Yea. Confuzion, no pressure but you're my hero right now. If anyone can feel your excitement, hopefulness and pure worry .... we do! :hugs:

Thanks, GP. I think you nailed, I need to be frank. The weird thing with us is that we're not dying to get pregnant ASAP, but we are more NTNP. However, having 2 chemicals raised a red flag for me and I wanted to get in to see a doctor ASAP.

She's a midwife and for as much as I pay for insurance, she better do what I say :haha:

Thanks guys. No one knows more than you what a nervous wreck I am at the moment. I'm so desperate for it to go well yet having a hard time actually imagining things going well.

Lol cutie. Yes she better do what you say! It's definitely worth it to get it looked into since it happened twice. If it was only the one, I would be telling you to try again too. I didn't notify my midwife or anything after my chemical in March since it was my first.

Just a quick update. The appointment went great. She's going to do bloodwork Friday and an ultrasound the following. Hoping I will get some answers this month!

Woohoo!

I had six vials of blood drawn today (what they're testing for is on my ticker in my sig).

I never had the HSG but I did get tested for the other 2. It was negative. Going to take all my blood test results to that recurrent miscarriage specialist I'm going to soon. We'll see if he has any insight or if he orders anymore testing.

Let's see if all of us get some kind of ideas from eachother's tests.

Definitely share your results. We will beat this monster! I didn't get the names of the tests - DOH! I will find out when they give me the results.

Will definitely share my results! The nurse said my blood test results would probably be back by next Monday in time for my HSG. I'm not worried about my TSH levels, as I had them drawn last summer and they were well within the normal range.

I don't know whether to hope that something's wrong or not!

I am battling the same thing. If they find something they can hopefully fix it but if they don't find anything what the heck?! So I don't know which way to hope!

My bloodwork should be ready by the 13th so I should find out everything then.

Lol I've had that same inner battle! But found that I was pretty disappointed when my results came back normal.
