Multiple losses, TTC #1. Anyone else?

hi guys, can i join you? feeling pretty blue today as started my 3rd mc yesterday. luckily in a way, i only new for a week this time and hadnt let myself get attached. but it makes me even more worried for next time. i conceive easily, but they just dont stick. longest was 11w3days. so close to the magic marker in my mind of 12 weeks.
i really want this so much, but i just have no hope now that my body can do it. anyway going to ask docs for some tests to see if they can find an issue.
sorry for being a bit doom and gloom. x

Baby dust to you, too, Angels. Have you had any testing done to find out why you're having the losses?

Thank you GingerPanda. I had tests done for;

PCOS
Uterine issues
Chromosomal abnormalities
Vit D, B
Folate
Diabetes
Celiac disease
Thyroid
Blood clotting (there is a few in this one)
Estrogen
Progesterone
Iodine
Stress hormone
My husband had a sperm test too

I'm in Australia and they only did testing after the 3rd miscarriage.

They found although my thyroid is normal, it can be sluggish and they found I had slight PCOS but dont reckon its a problem as I can fall PG...I just can't hold on to them...

I think I pretty much exhausted all test methods! So now im seeing an acupuncturist who thinks he can help with his herbs.

Will be TTC this cycle...fingers crossed x

C, Can't wait for your updates.

Hi Angel! This thread will be a distant memory for all of us soon. We'll be too busy with our little ones.

Thanks CutieQ.. I really hope so x

Hi newest ladies. Sorry you're in this same boat. Won't be around for a while I think now that loss number 4 is upon me. Just wanted you guys to know I'm rooting for you. Just nearing the end of my road with how much I can handle right now and need a nice long break.

I'm so sorry for everyone's loses. :hugs:

C, no! Running to check out your journal.

Am sorry confuzion and slow. Hugs.x

Hi slow, sorry for your loss Hun. I'm hoping we can all get off this thread and never return. We're here for you!

I'm so nervous waiting for my test results...

And nervous for news on C.

Me too GP. Anxious for both of your results!

Thanks GP I'm a big huge hot mess. Throwing everything out of proportion. I'm surprised my husband is putting up with me and not leaving me :nope:. I'm being more optimistic now though definitely not 100% better. Sorry for the drama guys.

Anxious for your tests too GP :hugs:.

Feeling better Confuzion?

I'm getting antsy about my tests and want to call but they said they would call me :(

Yeah doing alright cutie. Just kind of letting the chips fall where they may. Can't control the outcome so trying not to think about it too much.

Ugh I hate when they make you wait so long for blood test results! I'm anxiously awaiting the news from you and GP.

That's the spirit! Enjoy the moment and stay positive.

I may take a break after this cycle - with the chemical last cycle and the tests this month, it's been a lot!

Last night I got upset with my hubs for wanting to load the dishes before bed haha. A task I should normally reward but now i'm like COME ON - I have a flashing smiley for pete's sake!

I will post as soon as they call.

LOL. TTC makes all a little mad.

Will be waiting :coffee:.

Welp. I got antsy and called for my bloodwork.

She tested for thyroid, prolactin, FSH & LH (all hormones) and everything came back in normal range!!!

Posted details below because I needed to look them up myself! Or in case someone stumbles on the thread looking for answers.

If you have an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), your thyroid gland doesn't produce enough of certain important hormones. For women, there's sometimes a link between hypothyroidism and infertility.

Prolactin is a hormone that plays a role in fertility by inhibiting follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), the hormones that trigger ovulation and allow eggs to develop and mature.

A follicle-stimulating hormone test measures the amount of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in a blood sample. In women, FSH helps control the menstrual cycle and the production of eggs by the ovaries.

LH helps regulate your menstrual cycle and ovulation. LH can be used to determine when you are ovulating.

Any word GP?

That's great that your thyroid is functioning normally and hormones in normal range! Hopefully it means you've just had some bad luck and the next one will be sticky :)

What Confusion said! I hope you'll have better luck next time, now that you got some good results!

I talked to my doctor yesterday, and he still hadn't received my results. More waiting! :coffee:

Thanks for the info cutie. If i have any others ill put them up too x

Wanted to update you ladies on my results. This was a dramatic appt, I've put the long version in my journal, but they did an ultrasound and the doc said uterus lining ovaries follicles everything look perfect! He said there's zero cause for concern and he's not concerned about my hubby if we got positives. He said if I'm not pregnant in 6 months to come back and if I get a positive line to come in immediately so I have permission to test early lol

I'm going to be happy that they don't see anything immediate and accept that as great news and be hopeful about the next 6 months!
