I have symptomatic PVC's which cause me an array of issues, esp. when they start acting up and I start getting multiples in a row. I never had issues with my previous two pregnancies and was a bit concerned they would get worse throughout this pregnancy. Ive been through EKG's, echo's, wore a holter monitor for 30 days, have had a zillion tests done, and right now all is checking out fine. When i first went in to see my midwife they were worried they might get worse and were going to refer to me a cardiologist if they got worse, but surprisingly, I havent noticed very many of them **knock on wood** My MW says usually when a woman has an underlying cardiac condition, 1/3 will stay the same, 1/3 will get worse and 1/3 will get better. Ive lucked out and had actually gotten better, but thats not to say after baby is born, or at anytime, I could end up with a horrible array of PVC's again and pass out and end up back at square one with another holter monitor on. I hated that thing.
