I don't want to rush into things and be wrong about it coz I know is way too early for him to be doing this! He's not even technically 4 months old yet. He's 3 months and 4 weeks!! BUT For the past week he has been trying to sit up without support leaning his back and all, and now he can sit by himself for maybe 30 seconds (a few days ago was for a few seconds at a time) before falling down :D
He seems to realise this and gets all smiley and happy. From the moment he was born he had great control over his neck muscles and back too, and improved a lot from there.
who has an early "sitter" too?

Hi hun. Omar also started to sit up unaided at 4 mnths for few seconds & was always trying to pull himself up to sitting. He managed to sit while supporting his body with his hands just before he turned 5 mnths. After 1 wk he was confidently sitting without supporting his body with his hands.

My son did this too. He also started walking (holding onto a truck) at 7mths, and walked on his own at 9mths and 3 days. He just couldn't wait to join the rest of the world.

wow. And I thought boys were late bloomers! He's a cutie. Did he learn to crawl early too? LO seems quite active, almost manic :thumbup:. I have an intuition he will be all over the place in few months time :haha:

Nope, same here, I could have written the first post. He's hitting all his milestones waaaaaaaay early but I've stopped telling people (especially HV) of Valentino's accomplishments because they act as though I'm a proud Mummy seeing things that aren't really there :(

Well done to all the early birds :)

sorry the above post was for nmwb78.

WOW JASMAK he was walking at 7 months? what a clever boy! He's beautiful. Guess we'll wait and see then...

I honestly don't remember when he crawled, I would have to dig out the baby book. LOL! My guess is 5-6 mths though, probably 5. He also held his head at birth. It was pretty amazing. He still moves all day non-stop and he is now 7 years old. Very competitve, and active, and very into sports.

Indy Princess haha my thoughts exactly. I thought I was overreacting...

He was standing on 4 at 6 mnths 1 wk, then after few days he started to leap instead of crawl & was fast (like a rabbit :haha:) at 8 mnths 3 wks he figured out how to properly crawl, so not early. Now he's standing unaided for few seconds & is trying to walk.
